Rajbeer was on his knees crying in front of Preeto's picture. The phone rang...Rajbeer wiped his tears and then picked up the phone.
Rajbeer-hello
Bj- Hello Rajbeer.
Rajbeer- ha Bj
Then lets out a tiny sob
Bj- Puttar kya hua
Rajbeer- kuch nahi. Waise apne phone kyu kiya
Bj- ha woh Bani ke roke ke liye. Puttar ek kam kar tu na Bhatinda se Amritsar aja 2,3 hafto ke liye.
Rajbeer- nahi Bj main Bani ke roke ke liye aur phir zidha uske shaadi ke liye ajaonga.
Bj- Rajbeer tumhe Amritsar mein rahe hoe 5 saal hogae.
Rajbeer- 5 saal ho ya 50 saal. Amritsar Preeto ke yaado se baara hai. Ap toh jaante hai ke mein kitne mushkil se Preeto ki moth accept kar paya ho. Ab Amritsar mein mujhe daar hain ke kahen woh zinda hai uske chohuti umed hojaegi.
Before Bj could reply, Bani took the phone away from Bj and started talking.
Bani- Jiju, mein jaante ho ke Amritsar mein Preeto di ki yaadein hai lekin agar ap nahi ae toh phir mein ye shaadi nahi karongi.
After finishing her talk she puts the phone down and then goes to her room.
Rajbeer cames a call to his senior officer. Then phone rang and then the officer finally picked it up.
Officer- Hello
Rajbeer- hello sir, this is Rajbeer.
Officer- oh hello Rajbeer. Kya baat hai.
Rajbeer- sir woh mere saali ke shaadi hai toh kya mujhe 2,3 hafto ke chuti mil sakte hai.
Officer- of course. Mujhe lagta hai ke tumhe ek break ke bahaut zarorat hai. Waise bhi tumne pechle 5 saalo mein ek baar bhi chuti nahi maange. Tumhe chuti pe jaane ke permission hai.
Rajbeer- thank u sir.
When he finished the phone call, he phone Bj.
Rajbeer- hello Bj woh Bani se kehna ke mein kal a raha hon.
NEXT DAY, AMRITSAR 9 AM...
As soon Rajbeer entered Amritsar, he remembering Preeto even more. When he drove by the lake he had a flashback.
Flashback...
The first time he met Preeto was by this lake. He was about to swim in the lake but Preeto stopped him and then they both fell in the water.
Scene changed to days after their wedding. Rajbeer was talking to Preeto.
Rajbeer- Preeto tumhe kya swimmers se nafrat hai.
Preeto- nahi toh.
Rajbeer- toh phir jab hum phele baar mile tab tumne mujhe swim karne se kyun roka.
Preeto- kyunki jo apko ek recreation place laga woh actually ek sucidal point hai. Waha pe 55 deaths ho chuki hai.
Rajbeer- KYA! No wonder.
End of Flashback...
He drove to the Dhillon house. He entered the house with his laguage.
Papaji- Rajbeer puttar. Ja Preeto ke room mein apna saman rak a. Aur Preeto kaha...
Before he could finish his sentence he remembered Preeto is dead, she is no more.
Rajbeer went to Preeto's ex-room. He looked around and saw that everything was the same, nothing was changed. From her curtains, bed sheet to her bangles nothing had changed.
While he was in the room.
Bj- Master ji kya zarorat thi Preeto ka zikar karne ki. Woh itne mushkil se uske bina je raha hai aur ap uske zakham pe namak laja rahe ho.
Papaji- mere moo se kehse nikal gaya.
Rajbeer came from his room and then went up to Bani and Sonu.
Rajbeer- okay toh ab mere saaliyo ko kya karna hai.
Sonu-jiju hume shopping karna hai.
Rajbeer- toh phir chalo. Tumhara yeh jiju tumhe shopping pe lejaega.
Market...
Sonu and Bani were shopping at the clothing store and Rajbeer was standing behind them holding their bags. Sonu turned around.
Sonu- jiju mein chodiyon ke shop se hoke atte ho.
Rajbeer nodds.
Sonu is at to the bangle store. She tried on pink bangles and then asked- Chacha yeh kitne ke hai.
Chacha- beta waise toh yeh 30 rupee ke hai lekin tum 20 mein lelo.
Sonu- discount kyu.
Chacha- beta tumhare Preeto di koi parae thodi thi, woh bhi toh ek apne bachi hi toh thi.
Sonu smiles and looks in her purse for 20 rupees.
Suddenly a girl wearing a yellow and blue salwar kamez comes from behind Sonu. She takes a look at blue bangles and smiles.
Chacha- bbbhooot. Bhoot.
The girl- kya.
Chacha- tum ek bhoot ho. Tum Preeto ka bhoot ho.
Girl- humare nam Preeto hai lekin hum kiseka bhoot nahi hai.
Sonu turns around to see the girls face. When she saw her tears formed in her eyes.
Sonu- di.
Preeto- kya, uno hum kise ki di nahi hai.
Saying that Preeto turns around and starts walking towards the store that Rajbeer and Bani were at. Sonu gives the store keeper his money and then runs to Rajbeer.
Sonu- jiju. Maine abhi abhi use dekha.
Rajbeer- kise dekha aur tum ro kyu rahe ho.
Sonu- meine Preeto di ko dekha.
Rajbeer- dekho Sonu yeh tumhara weham hoga. Lekin please Preeto zinda hai isska zikar mere samhe maat karo. Mein itne muskil se uske death ko accept kar paya hon. Please mujhe chuti umed maat do warna iss baar mein phirse samhal nahi paonga.
Rajbeer turns to Bani- Bani tum Sonu ko lekar car mein jao. Main paise dekar atta hon.
Bani and Sonu leave the store.
Bani- kya zarorat thi Preeto ka naam lene ki.
Sonu- i swear di, mein Preeto di ko dekha.
Bani- chal.
They sit in the car.
Rajbeer gives the store keeper his money and walks out the store and then bumps into a girl. Her coffee spills on the ground. Rajbeer- i'm so sorry.
There was wind and thats why he couldn't see the girl properly because her hair was all over her face. Then she removed her hair
from her face. Then Rajbeer was the girl he was Preeto. for a second he thought it was his imagination and he kept staring at her.
Preeto- what. Apko dekhae nahi deta kya. Humare coffee gera di.
Rajbeer comes out of his imagination. It starts raining and then everyone starts heading towards a store. Only Rajbeer and Preeto are left there. Rajbeer finally managed to say something- Preeto.
Preeto- ap humara naam kaise jaante hain.
No response.
Preeto- amazing koi humhe di kehta hai, toh koi bhoot aur kuch log toh humara naam bhi jaante hai.
Preeto looks around and then calls out- Alina, roko humara wait toh karo.
Then she leaves a shocked Rajbeer behind. When she was leaving Rajbeer was still staring at her with wide eyes.
