PART 2

 

Khushi rushes to the poolside and sits there on the bench there.

K: humein ho kya jata hai…hum bol hi nahi pate hai…aisa kya hua hai  humein…? Agar wo pishach nahi hai toh…kya hai wo?

Arnav woke up from his stunned state. He looks around and sees Khushi was no where. Anjali who had just come up…

An: "yeh Khushiji aise upar bhaag ke kyun gayi?... pata nahi kya hua hai unhe? Shayad tabyat kharab hai… main jaake dekhti hoon"

Arnav stopped her

A: aap chodiye main dekhta hoon.

Arnav goes up the stairs and walks into his room without thinking. He turns around to leave when he notices Khushi sitting on the bench. He goes upto her and quietly bends down to her ears and says,

A: kya tum ab bataogi tumhe kya hua hai? Tum theekh toh ho na?

Khushi turned to look at him and found his face within centimetres of hers. Her breath stopped. They stared at each other

[RABBA VE STARTS]

Khushi thinks: kisi ki aakhen itni gehri kaise ho sakti hai?... yeh kya bol rahi hai Khushi? Gehri aakhen ? humein yeh kya hogaya hai?

 

Arnav thinks: she is so beautiful… par ise hua kya hai? I can't see her crying like this…

Arnav gently brushes a finger across her cheek, wiping off a tear.

 

Khushi thinks : yeh itne bhi bure nahi hai jitna ki yeh dikhate hai…

[RABBA VE ENDS]

 

A : Khushi, ghar mein sab thik toh hai na? kya tum us wajah se pareshaan ho?

The moment Arnav asked her about her house, she was reminded of Buaji asking her to marry Shyam.

She looked at arnav's warm eyes and fell for them.

K: humari shaadi…

Arnav was shocked. He didn't expect it, neither did he wanted to hear this. His eyes widened.

A: kya?

Khushi thinks: hum kaise kar payenge Shyamji se shaadi? Hum toh unhe chaaron or dekhte bhi nahi hai…hum toh…hum toh…Arnavji ko dekhte hai…hum kya karen…?

Arnav was puzzled. He was staring at Khushi blankly, waiting for an answer.

A: Khushi?

K: huh? Oh wo kuch nahi…wo…wo…hum soch rahe they ki agar humari shaadi ho jayegi toh bauji ko humari yaad toh aayegi na?

K thinks: wah Khushi kumari Gupta kya bachaya tune apne aap ko… wah!

Arnav smiled and sat down next to Khushi

A: koi tumhe bhool bhi sakta hai Khushi?

A thinks: what the…? What did I say

K: kyun?

K thinks : yeh Arnav ji ne kya kaha abhi abhi?

A: umm tum ho hi aisi… pagal…

A thinks: phew good save!

And he looked away

K: oh!

K thinks: aur hum kya kya soch rahe they…

K: umm… humein chalna chahiye?

She gou up to leave when her dupatta got stuck to the corner of the bench. She tried to pulling it but it was stuck.

Arnav leaned to release it and in the jerk Khushi lost her balance.

Khushi stood up in shock. she had a bluetooth device on her ear.

"kya? aapne humari sagai pakki kar di?"

Arnav too was shocked. his eyes widened and he stared at khushi

Khushi turned to arnav, a tear rolled down her cheek.

she took off the device, handed it to arnav and ran out of the room.
