It Girl, Interrupted
Every once in a while, a life changing event will arrive. Is it a party on Gossip Girl? It is! Blair is still trying to shake her marriage to prince boring, all while shaking it up with BoringBoywithBadHair. Serena is being told to give the Gossip Girl blog back to Georgina. Chuck still is looking for his blood donor ' and paying Blair's dowry so she can be free of the boring prince (but shhh, that's a secret.) Oh! And Elizabeth Hurley is back at the Spectator. Someone should tell Lola. Liz/Diana is taking over. She wants to throw a party. Serena tells Lola to start going to parties and being part of Nate's life. Blair tells Dan the Royal Seal is missing from the divorce decree, so they can't be seen in public. But she's a lying liar and Dan sees that the seal is uh, sealed. Rufus went and schmoozed Ivy/Charlie and offered to trade their old apartment in exchange for money. Lily doesn't want to give up her money. Serena is trying to turn Lola into an "It" girl by putting her in a black dress and taking a photo of her with firefighters. Lola doesn't want to play until she gets jelly of Liz/Diana and Nate. Chuck tries to talk to Blair about the search for his mom. She accuses him of trying to weasel her way back into her life. And then she finds out about the dowry, courtesy of bigmouthBoringBoy. Can anyone explain the girls in trashy outfits as the party theme? At the party, Nate and Diana pretend to be a couple and Lola tries to make Diana jealous. Diana tries to make Nate jealous. Blair accuses Chuck of buying her divorce so he could claim her as a prize. Why is she so mean to Chuck? He's been nothing but fabulous to her for a long time. We don't like when people in fake world are mean to actors. (Because, fyi, I'm reminding you all that Gossip Girl isn't real.) Nate videotapes Diana schmooching it up with an (alleged) 16-year-old boy. But Diana calls his bluff. Diana says she and Nate need to learn how to work together, even though she still has finer feelings for Nate. Blair says it's hard to give up the princess dream. Serena is sad that she's not the "It" girl anymore. And she's reluctant to give up Gossip Girl blogging. So she sends out a mean message about how no one can best Serena as an "It" ever. Chuck is still searching for his blood donor, and finds out it wasn't the woman he thought was his mom. And Dan makes Blair dress up as a pretty uh, very pink prom princess with a fake tiara and fake ring and takes her pictures with high school girls. Every woman's dream. And Lily moves back into her apartment. Alone. Because Rufus is mad that she lied to Charlie about paying her off. Rufus is staying in Brooklyn.
