Arnav and Green Chillies

Please someone clear my confusion. Nikhil was asking him to eat Harpreet not the chili.Then why was Nikhil holding out the green chilli to Arnav? 

He had got him a plate and a green chilli so he could relish harpreet

May be as garnish when eating harpreet. He did also bring da salt and pepper along and offered it to ASR.

I know...I never followed that part. Watched it again. Guess the kid was just trying to scare "Shaitan", with the green chilli, and force him to do what he wanted.  Defense mechanism you see 😉 😆

arnav is a diabetic so he can't offer a sweet harpreet
So to make harpreet spicy nikhil offered chilli n salt to arnav

to spread salt on harpreet n eat him with chilli...

ya i wondered if it was supposed to keep him away as well just like garlic is supposed to keep vamps away..🤣...dunno..probably hid them in the guestroom..
