What might be the causes for this???

I too suffered it ... but that was due to erratic work schedule !! am now better ...

If you have reduced weight PLUS some health problem -- like pain in the abdomen or loss of apetitie or increased fatigue etc...it could be a problem.
 
There are people whose weight fluctuates, but that's a different story..
