Sayantani Ghosh, who was on a much deserved 4-month break, has been living it up and is back to what she does best - acting!

The television actress who made her mark in serials like Kumkum, Ghar Ek Sapna and Nagin, will be seen in Rakta Sambandh, a family drama all set to hit the small screens soon. Telecast on Imagine, the serial revolves around five sisters.

Sayantani Ghosh plays the second eldest sister in this TV serial. Her character is modern. She plays a girl who is smart, confident and independent, yet family-oriented. A vast difference from her earlier roles, Sayantani is only too happy to return to the small screen with 'Rakta Sambandh'.

Whilst on her 4-month break, the actress did a Bengali film and also made a couple of friendly appearances in shows like Sabki Laadlo Bebo and Crime Petrol. However, it's time for her to be seen in more often and in an important role, and Rakta Sambandh has given her the opportunity.

The show is said to be a daily one and will be aired during prime time on Imagine.
