Also they both do acknowledge the other as husband and wife, and give them that place--even if not the complete emotional place. I don't know if you've watched the earlier episodes, but right after the engagement...he told cops to treat Aarti with respect as she's his fiance and about to be his wife.As for how it will work...isn't that what shows are... we see it gradually happening barriers breaking down, friendship, love, etc.
