Kinjal, Rashi and Gopi are similar to age and have had exposure to similar people at some point in their lives, yet how different the three are.  They say you are a child of the environment around you.  I don't think that applies to these young women of SNS.  They are a result of what they chose to absorb or ignore in the environment around them.  Their lives have intertwined with each other and they have interacted with the same people, but each turned out to be a product of their own making.

First there is Kinjal who was raised by Kokila, a fair and upright woman, who always tried to show her children the right path.  Kinjal became spoilt by the family since she was the only girl and the youngest in the family.  We see Kokila trying to advise her to do the right thing from time to time even after her marriage and Kinjal does seem to do it on the surface when she is forced to.  Kokila asked Kinjal to respect Kurmi and call her phai instead of auntie, so Kinjal did it.  Kokila asked her to give respect to her husband, but did she?  Kinjal chose to ignore the good environment and advice provided by her mother; instead she is slowly electing to embrace Kurmila's depraved world of degradation, wickedness, and immortality.  It would have been a pleasure to watch her truly become choti kagdi.  Instead, with her descent into the world of crime and fraud, she is turning herself into choti Kurmi.

Next is Rashi.  Unlike Kinjal, she was raised in the world of kalakaris and Kurmila.  That says it all, right?  Still, she was lucky enough to be given a chance to redeem herself when she was married into a kind and loving family.  She could truly immerse herself in this new environment to become a decent human being.  It wouldn't have been that hard since she was away from the influence of her atrocious mother, but what does she chose to do?  She refuses to come out of her mummy's lap.  She brings along her evil mom in the shape of a cell phone in her dowry and chases after the elusive mirage of false power, money and status ignoring the oasis of her loving family and a true gem of a husband who are within her reach.  She has had every chance to become an adorable wife, a lovable sister, and an ideal woman, but she wants to inflict pain, break relationships, and deceive people.  She is aspiring to become choti Kurmi but sadly, she lacks the brain of a conniving kalakar to get that crown of shame.  Rashi will always be Rashi.

Last is our Gopi vahu.  She could be forgiven if she had turned into a Kinjal or Rashi.  She was raised in the same depraved environment as Rashi.  She was never given any love while growing up and her status in her house was no more than of a maid.  She was surrounded by a world of evil and selfishness in the form of Rashi and Kurmila.  Choosing to disregard the soullessness of people around her, she enveloped herself in the colors of love and kindness for others, and faith in her Kanhaji.  She also entered the same upright family as Rashi, but unlike Rashi's, her husband didn't love or support her.  She did not let this warp her or damage her.  She took what was bad in her life and turned it into good.  She won hearts of everyone around her, even managing to do the impossible - getting her Ahemji to fall in love with her.  Gopi's wishes for a loving family and a loving prince finally came true.  Gopi is in a legue of her own and truly a product of her own making.  No Kinjal or Rashi can come close to her.

U have proved with your excellent postClap that a person is good or bad depending on how they choose to embark life.
We always try to argue that the values instilled by a parent is what builds the foundation to ensure that the child growing up will be an honor to society as well to its family.

Today's episode exemplied that despite having the fortune of wonderful parents, the child doesn't always reflect its parents shadow.

Kinjal has certainly demonstrated that despite the excellent education and bringing up her mother did she in no manner is she an image of that.  She has always been the center of attention and now that she has brainwashed by Urmi she is following a road which is not something that she was taught. They always say a daughter is the one who always ends up taking care of her family, today, Kinjals character certainly had proved to go against that!

Rashi on the other hand has not had any values instilled her despite having parents. I think the issue here lies with the fact that Jeetubhai's involvement in Rashi's life seems to be a bare minimal. They never seem to have any father-daughter interaction.
Had he taken a stand much earlier I feel that Rashi wouldn't have turned out the way she is.  Due to Urmi's dominance in their marriage and the lack of him standing upto her, Rashi has become Urmi's evil twin sister instead.

Gopi, is a true reflection, that despite not having any parents, her true mother and father became Kanhaji, I feel he infact has played that important role in giving Gopi away to Ahem, and giving her the dream that she so well deserves!! Sorry for the long post!! Got carried away! Embarrassed

Again, Aris, Execellent post!! StarClap

Well saidClap

It always comes to the choice you make.. Gopi chose the right path and has almost reached her destination.. Her path could have been full of thorns and stones but she slowly threw the stones away and the thorns melted away... And on her way her determination got her prince to take her off with himself..

Rashi got a flowerbed... Her path was also well defined if only she would have followed it.. Instead of going towards her destination, Rashi keeps adding more thorns in the other routes and in that task has completely lost her way.. She will never get back to her bed of roses again.. It is her own doing.

Kinjal did have a path laid out for her.. It was also fairly easy to travel. But she chose another path that is slowly taking her to a quagmire... She will drown in it one day. She thinks the path leads to freedom.. What she does not know is that the path is her death sentence..Confused

Great points, Angl.   As children, we may not have control over what we do, but as adults, we choose our own path to follow - good or bad.  I know these are fictional shows created for entertainment, but this is something we could all learn from SNS.  Our destiny is in our own hands.  It all depends on what choices we make in our lives.
