Yekshagana

This week they performed yakshagana. This art form is not only about costumes. Even the costumes very not complete in the performance. I come from that part of the country and have been a follower of that art form. They should have used the Chende and maddale and bhagavatige which is the integral part of yakshagana. The person who sings (bhagavata) is the director of the whole act in this art form. Also this art form is mostly performed only on mythological themes. There are so many tracks available on yakshagana, it deserved  some more respect.

The act was good on its part, but please there was no 1% of yakshagana in it.

Although what mentioned above is correct one should feel and support  their effort to get costumes on and done few steps which could be identified with Yakshagana.

yaa!!!!! I have also seen Yakhagana the actual art form...it is totally different from what they did...But well done whatever they have done.
