"Rajini and Rahman came together to render Rahman's composition.😍 In Hindi. Rajniji had earlier sung the theme song for the Tamil version of Kochadaiyaan. But that was a completely different song. You must understand that the Hindi version of Kochadaiyaan is totally independent of its Tamil version. And so are the songs," Kochadaiyaan producer Dr Murli Manohar told Mumbai Mirror.
The song has been written by Irshaad Kaamil of Love Aaj Kal and Rockstar fame. The song has a complicated imagery of life and mortality with several difficult Urdu words, probably the reason why Rajini was initially a little skeptical about pulling it off, reported the tabloid.
