Mitali Nag and Prashant Narayanan split after a four-year relationship. Neha Maheshwri Bhagat finds out why... 

Relationships in the glamour industry are as fragile as egos and the latest one to bite the dust is the four-year-old affair of Prashant Narayanan and Mitali Nag. 

While Narayanan is a well-known TV and Bollywood actor (last seen in Murder 2), Nag plays the lead in Raakesh Paswan's Afsar Bitiya. The two were in a serious relationship until now. Informs a source, "Prashant and Mitali were as different as chalk and cheese but were very close and looked great together. They seemed madly in love and we were sure that they would get married. Their families were aware of this relationship. Now, they are both tight-lipped about the split just as they were reluctant about discussing their relationship in public. Their decision to part ways has surely come as a shock." 

Mitali confirms, "I would want the man to divulge the reason for our split. Yes, we were madly in love but then the relationship was not meant to be. I am still in touch with him and his family. I miss those times and the father figure he was in my life. I have learned a great deal of acting from him." Narayanan remained unavailable for comment.
