Sandeep Rajora may have opted out of the show Yehi To Hai Woh where he was playing the negative character of Pran (based on the film villain Pran), but he's still very keen to do negative characters. "It's interesting playing these characters. Actually you can do a lot of different things. There's not much responsibility because you want to be hated."
Natassha recently celebrated her birthday with the entire TV brigade being present at the bash. That was mainly because it was a party by Ekta Kapoor to celebrate the completion of 1000 episodes of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi
on Star Plus. And Natassha looked stunning that evening in a black dress which had a dash of red. Why red? Because the theme was a 'dash of red' and everybody at the party made it a point to have something red on them.
Manish Goyal Bhabhi is likely to take a 15-year leap. There's buzz that lead actor Manish Goyal will opt out. Manish, however, says these are just rumours. "I haven't decided anything. The negotiations are still on." He adds, "All kinds of rumours do the rounds. I recently heard some other buzz about me that I had problems on the sets of Bhabhi and I was going to be replaced. It's shocking because ever since I rejoined this show it's been absolutely smooth sailing."
Weight n Watch
Sudha Chandran Ask Sudha Chandran how she has managed to lose so much of weight and she laughs, "Go abroad, get depressed and you'll lose weight." Sudha adds, "I went to Canada some time ago. I felt so lonely there that I stopped eating and lost all those extra kilos." That did her a lot good and she easily managed to step into her character in K Street Pali Hill on Star Plus which required a person with a slim and sexy figure. And what does Sudha do now to maintain her new figure? "Oh, I hit the gym everyday early in the morning."
Bold and the Beautiful
Swetta Keswani Swetta Keswani's friends have been teasing her these days about whether she is undergoing a sex change operation. That's because Swetta recently played a character of a woman who used to be a man in Siddhant on Star One. "My friends can't stop teasing me," she laughs. On a serious note, she says, "Playing this role was a very different experience. At the end of it I felt really sad thinking about people who go through stuff like this and how they are not accepted by our society. Unfortunately there is a lot of hypocrisy in our society."
One thing Chetan Hansraj doesn't talk about is his role as young Balaram in the serial Mahabharat years ago. Chetan was around 14-years old then. "That's an age when you don't look your best. You are at an age when you are neither a kid nor a grown-up," he laughs. "If you see my pictures then you won't be able to recognise me. Except for my eyes there is no resemblance at all."
