Jassi loves Armaan.  She will see him on her sagai for that simple reason.

You mean to say that her love for armaan is so blind that her love for her parents and her friends is nothing???

Then definetly its true Jassi Jaisi har koi hain!! No problem an odinary girl can throw her principals out of the window. Clap

That means the name of the serial actually should be 'Jassi Jaisi Baddsurat Koi Nahi'. because in the way of facing the world and principal's jassi is very ordinary. the only thing that is diffrent is her looks, what the heck!! I liked jassi not for her looks but for her brains and her principals. But lets see when in love jassi become ordinary, or worse then ordinary!!Dead

Jammy

In 1972 my parents met at school in London.  My mother was born in India and had very strict parents.  She came to England aged 4 and was brought up with traditional Asian values.  She told me her dad beat her when she put a Paul McCartney poster up in her bedroom in the 1960's.

Anyway my parents met and fell in love.  The problem was my dad's family were from Ireland.  My father was white.  Taboo then and probably still taboo now.  My mother tried to talk to her parents about my lovely wonderful father.  She was thrown out of the house. Although mixed race marriges we not accepted my parents married and had a beautiful daughter (me ha ha).  They have stayed together and remain very much in love.  I have been brought up to see and value the Indian and Irish sides from which I originate.  I speak fluent Hindi and Punjabi and can dance the Irish Jig (badly)

Eventually my grandparents came round and now they adore my dad.  He and mum are the only one of their kids who have taken care of them.

My point Jammy is sometimes love for a partner is more important than love for a parent because if that person is your soul mate then it is fate.  You are meant to be togther regardless.

If the parents are decent and they genuinely want what is best for their child they will accept it eventually.  Parents sometimes think they know what is best for their kids but that is not always the case.

Well Said minnie and Surnita, I agree to those point. But dont you people think just for once that if jassi is right that she shouldnt have hesitated in letting purab know CLEARLY where she is going or what she is doing.

I mean its ok armaan is her love, I dont deny the fact and I am ready to accept them as couple. But Purab is also supposed to be her husband , dont you think she has some responsibilty towards his loyal love? atleast inform him!!

Sorry mystica but I wasnt the one who started it.

well said Surnita....and I do see ur point.....now I'm not being judgemental here or anything (and if I offend u then I apologise, as that is not my intent) but if I put myself in the senario u described, then I would probably do what ur mother did.....

however if I see myself in the same situation with regards to the family I come from, I will probably let go of my love if my parents were against it......now my parents are not strict and have always supported every decision of mine......yet I know that if I do something that goes against their wishes, then I will not be happy.....

I do not believe in breaking old relationships to forge new ones....if u cant fulfill the relationships u already have, then u will proably do poorly in the new one too.....

p.s. this was just another instance to the one u provided....no offence intended....but situations do differ

I agree Ides but I Jassi's situation is not as serious as this one so wouldnt it be easier for her to break the engagement if she needed too and go to Armaan.  She has a loving and supportive family, they love her unconditionally.  Maybe NOTE MAYBE, getting engaged to Purab was a mistake, if she realises this and backs out then I am sure her family would support her 100%

true Surnita....but if she feels that the best thing that happened to her was a mistake (sorry my SAPS acting up), she needs to realise that "mistake" fast before she turns into a villian.....
