Please provide links of everything you are claiming.  In particular, if you want to demonstrate that things written by Vyasa are either wrong, or wrongly attributed to him, please show other contemporaneous literature that backs up such claims.  Otherwise claims like 'Krishna was monogamous' or 'Draupadi was monoandrous' are just that.  Besides, there was nothing against polygamy in those times, and even in Valmiki, contrary to popular belief, there is nothing that demonstrates that Rama ever promised Sita that she'd be his only wife.  Yeah, it turned out that way, but wasn't a given.  As for Krishna, while questions remain about whether Narakasura's concubines were his full fledged wives, there is no doubting that Krishna married his first 8 wives - including Jambavati, Satyabhama, Kalindi, Bhadra, Mitravindya, Satya and Lakshmanaa.

For example, if you want to demonstrate that what Vyasa wrote about Rama was wrong, it's easy - just use Valmiki, who was a contemporary of Rama, and use that as the reference to refute anything in the Treta Yuga for which Vyasa makes unsubstantiated claims.  However, it's more difficult to do that for Dwapar Yuga events, since Vyasa was the primary, if not the only source.

But nothing against Jainism, but using texts like Jain literature, like you did to claim that Draupadi was monandrous, doesn't at all cut it.

I think it's perfectly possible that the conclusions of Bankim Chandra are valid, but one would have to see what methodology he used b4 one can endorse his conclusions.  There are a few possible reasons to arrive at conclusions that fly in the face of what the texts say:
  1. The originals themselves were wrong
  2. The originals themselves were right, but later authors tampered w/ them, coming up w/ any number of spurious additions
  3. The current texts bear no resemblance to the original
So to determine the actual events, one would have to
  1. Identify the contemporaneous authors
  2. First determine what they actually wrote
  3. Then determine which of the things they wrote were genuine, and which weren't.
One would have to see all that b4 one can come to those same conclusions.
