 Its that time of our journey as a fan...wen we all gear up to welcome yet another character of harshad on screen,...to make him a part of our lives...to love him...to support him!
so we thought why not relive all those moments wen days seemed like light years waiting for hc's entry on his...waiting for the day our king would grace us with his presence...
 
 
 
 
 
FOX
He's a villain, but he's still in the infant stages
No nastiness on his face, no out-of-control rages
He stands with his back to the wall, eavesdropping on the two
He's as quiet as a mouse, as stealthy as one too
He ducks inside the room, his face clouded with worry
His brain already in the works as to what new step to take
And then he sees his wife pacing around the room
His face immediately changes to a smile that looks real though it's fake
He embraces her from behind, pulls her onto the bed
Already an indication of the naughtiness he'll show later
He has a thing for mischief, for bewitching with his eyes
Showing already that he's destined for greater
He's already turning on the wheels inside though
His display of love presently only a facade to confuse
And yet romance overtakes cunningness

Fresh Blood
He's sitting, unassuming, uncaring on the bench
You wouldn't notice him much at first
Not in a hurry, calm and composed
Hoping for the best and prepared for the worst
His face is innocent-not childish, a bit gaunt
Yet he stands with his back straight, full of obedience
His eyes showing his respect for authority-yes a face that can haunt
He's not in the mood to unwind and enjoy
Unlike his newfound friend who's playing the guitar
Yet he's not hesitant, stiff or shy
He's ready to take on things the way they are
Maybe it isn't the most impressive entry
Neither a scared crawl, nor a cocky arrival with a bang
And yet it's that very quietness and subtlety
That shows there might be something more interesting at hand

The Golden Boy
 
 
He's the guy every girl wishes could be her friend
He's trading more in college than the latest trend
He's young, and couldn't be more concerned with his life ahead
He's more in the mood to party than earn his daily bread
He enters the auditorium, it doesn't come to a still
It's hard to hear anything above the noise and the din
And yet his best friends separate him out from the maddening crowd
Their audience forgotten, now he's walked in
He's the person you look for even though he doesn't stand out
Simply by the way he makes her smile just when she sees his face
He's the one who's going to shoot your self-confidence up to the stars
And everywhere he goes, he leaves a trace
He's the one who jokes around, high-fives his friends, has fun
And yet his eyes never stop looking for the one
The golden boy, who leaves everyone charmed
But is waiting for the girl who will make him disarmed
 
 


 
 
 
 
 


 
 

The Prodigal Son

The bride is coy, shy, demure
Her lover is smart, confident and sure
A mere shadow strolling down the corridor
She is about to give her life to someone else
He is busy defending his country's pride in a faraway land
But the red bloodstain of love has already marked his hand
He removes his shirt, flexes his muscles
The audience gapes at a chest divine
He fingers his watch, his time his most valuable possession
He picks his rings, his eyes far more bewitching than their shine
He is a mere silhouette, his face not yet clearly defined.
She gets up, assisted by her ladies-in-waiting
And yet there is no hint of a smile on her face
Even he is grim, his posture steadied
The audience is perfectly still-but he keeps a brisk pace
His father says 'Here Comes my Ram'
For he is the prodigal son, but unlike his predecessor,
He is neither lavish nor wasteful,
Except when it comes to the love he bestows on his family
He touches his parent's picture before heading out to the game
One almost feels like laughing-the man's a mere fantasy
He strides through the cheerleaders, unaffected by their grace
But he's certainly captured the long-lasting devotion of you and me.

THE WAIT-FROM PREM TO ANU

Both are the heirs of their ill-fated dynasties
Full of dynamics and members that are hard to please
Admist the plotting and contriving, they bring their young brides
And find themselves torn while taking sides
Both of them found themselves exiled in foreign lands
And yet would always yearn for the comfort of their native sands
But this one is different, his fate sealed when he was young
Married off to the best friend he'd thought could never be a soul mate
Not shy, but vulnerable, a little bit insecure
But devoted to his Taani at any rate
We saw them bicker to the point of almost breaking apart
Yet nothing could dim the love in their heart
In the background of the sublime waterfall
They promised to meet just like lovers of old yore
Though they were small
But we all know that when humilated and sent away
Something inside him was bound to change
The precap itself of the things to come
Was an indication that he might have turned a little strange
He would now be someone who commands power and fame
And who can make an impression without using his name
The long separation might have just cast a shadow on his love's light
And perhaps he would have someone else to make Mrs. Right
We all know him, we've seen him before
He's not an uncommon character in romantic lore
And yet we know he can't be ruthless, or cruel
And though he's broken, he's still the adorable goof he was at school
But unlike him, the separation hasn't left any mark
We're still holding our breaths to see how he plays his part
The pain in his eyes can still draw tears from our own
It's this very ability for which he is well known
 
 
 
 
 
NADAAN PARINDAY

So long you have stayed away, yet so eager to return
Attitude in your walk, though your insides still burn
Childhood humiliation and regret turned to dust
The girls around you drop their jaws in awe and lust
A black coat on your shoulders, a pair of shades on your eyes
You hide the truth about yourself, yet tell no lies,
The familiar rings firmly set in their place
And as comfortable in his own soil as he was in pardes
But you are still as naive as you were as a child
Even though you've shed your luxuries and become a man of the wild
Somewhere at a distance, in a cab just like the one taking you home
Is the childhood sweetheart for which you like a nomad roam
She is unaware of your presence, you do not know her face
And yet you are aware of the debts and promises you left behind
On the outside you look like any other sophisticated brat
But on the inside you're the most passionate lover in humankind
You will meet her by chance, or rather fate brings you together
Like all lovers, you will have your tryst in the darkness of night

WAIT FOR MOHAN

How we had closed our eyes in desperation
On seeing him as a lover seeking salvation
How we had watched, spellbound, as he cried silent tears
And jumped into the abyss, leaving all his earthly fears
But Mohan was different, he was not a lover at heart
He had wanted different things right from the start
A family man, but indifferent to his blushing bride
His back turned away from her in his cold pride
But we all knew that he had in him the capacity to love
But they were from two completely different worlds, like below and above
We'd seen him as the adorable nerd, haunting his fiancee's dreams
But we knew that there would be more on ripping apart the seams
We watched as she dreamed of dancing with him the rain
Without realizing that all her fantasies were in vain
Like Anurag before, his exile had changed him to the hilt
And he was now filled with mysterious secrets, and a damning guilt
We didn't have to wait much, yet our anticipation
Thanks to his history, was filled with confusion
What brought about his transformation, what was there that he could hide?

THE MISCHIEVOUS SHEPHERD

He is named after the boy-god who fooled everyone with his tricks
The milkmaids would forever be chasing him with their sticks
And though he would continuously trouble them and fight
His countenance would always fill them with divine delight
Indeed, when he was young, he was simple, honest
And yet he captured the heart of a girl from a single photo frame
When he returned, he would be different, not so plain anymore
But she would still turn crimson on hearing his name
She dances in ecstasy, calling out to her God
He is busy speeding down to Earth, the plane's wheels touching the ground
Her family watches enthralled, his family his nervous
But she is swaying to the tunes of his bewitching sound
He comes up the escalator, bag slung over his shoulder
Barely recognizable from his previous avatar in his branded jeans and shoes
He is confident, ready to take on all the humans
But she is not scared of what he is about to let loose
She reaches out for the butter, hanging precariously above
He's reaching out for the ambitions that he has grown to love
She has no shame in playing God, rather her mischief breaks all rules
He's serious, with a killer-instinct, but powerless against her tools

Born in Gondia, a town near Nagpur India, on May 17th 1983, Harshad Parkash Chopda's family decided to move to Pune, following his graduation Harshad excelled in the later years of schooling and went on to join an engineering college. His parents never approved of his celluloid dreams and thus they enrolled him into an engineering college. Harshad audaciously states, "I only did engineering because my parents asked me to do so. However, I was clear in my mind as to what I wanted."

Later after completing his studies he headed straight to Bombay to pursue his acting career hoping to make it big one day just like Salman Khan, his favorite bollywood actor. He struggled hard during these years waiting for his big break but before that break would come he found himself successfully auditioning for Zee's Mamta and so began the journey of the actor Harshad Chopda!


He bagged his first prominent role in his second serial Left Right Left where he essayed the character Cadet Ali Baigh. This role found him a small measure of fame as he starred alongside actors like Rajeev Khandelwal but he feared typecasting and so he soon quit the show. He joined the cast of Amber Dhara soon after quitting Left Right Left. He essayed the role of Akshat and his performance was acknowledged at a larger scale. Unluckily, his stint with Amber Dhara didn't last long due to problems with the production house.


After remaining off screen for a short period of time, Harshad bounced back strongly with the Balaji show Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil where he portrayed the character of a passionate lover, Prem Juneja. He was recognized for his outstanding performance at various award functions.
After desh...harshad bounced back in action to essay the character of anuraag ganguly...a character which had various shades as anuraag's journey to discovering love unfolds...where ultimately harshad played insanity to such perfection that paagal onu had his own exclusive fan following...
After tere liye...harshad shed the lover boy image of telly and played the grey shaded character of Mohan Gala in Dharampatni who is far from being the perfect and loving husband...as he portrays the role of a drunkard who ultimately discovers the positive things in him to create a success story. Harshad played Mohan To The T...be it his one liners...his passion for work...his guilts...his struggle to breathe free in gala house...everything was perfect...
