TELL ME WHY DO U PREFER THIS COUPLE MORE THAN CEZANNE_PRERNA???

WOW! Great Question! I have a LOOOONG answer. Plz bear with me.
Apart from the obvious reasons like chemistry and love, I like the traditional 'Indian' flavour of their romance. They started off with this arranged marriage sort of way- two strangers-no love. From prerna's side, her attraction for him was quite obvious but he used to be so insensitive and rude to her. And then gradually they fell in love. Also, typical Indian way, they care a lot for their family-their kids. and I love the way she calls him 'aap' instead of 'tum'-so Indian. And she started wearing sarees, mangalsutra and sindoor after her marriage with him( I mean it was not compulsory for her to do it-it was just contract marriage afterall, but still she did it)-typical traditional Indian wife. Even in his Dream(remember the dream sequence when he goes to see his new bunglow?), she was wearing traditional red saree and looking like a typical Indian wife and also acting like a typical Indian wife(scolding him for coming home late- LOL)
They follow the traditional model where the man is strong, protective, able to support his family, and the woman is good wife, good mother ,cooks the dinner and waits for her man to come home. I just love that model coz it is so rare these days.
On the contrary, the prerna-anurag pair was exactly opposite, the man was always crying, weak, needed protection and help all the time. The woman was strong and cried less than the man. Prerna was running around in scorching heat trying her best to protect anu (be it from Komolika or Bajaj or Aporna or Subroto).
That's not anu's fault though..most of the men in Ekta's serials are good-for-nothing wimps and women are shown as strong and protective.(perhaps because the serials are women-centric)
Rishuprerna is the only pair where the roles of man and woman are traditional and not reversed. I think the other pair like that is Sujal-Kashish to some extent.

Although, I don't have a problem with you liking prerna bajaj, i think they look real good together, or your reasons, because having an opinion is better than having none at all...i would like to comment, and please don't get offended because that is not at all my intentions...
i think realistically, both a man and woman should be strong, and that if one completes the other, there is something wrong with you...you need to make yourself happy, you can't rely on others to make you happy.
let me put this in a slightly different context...although, in a serial, the typical arrange marriage is highly romanticized...i'm not dissing cultures where arranged marriages are very popular, i justt think there are better solutions to arranged marriages, and that extka is reinstating such stereotypical ideas of what a women and what a man should be.
one should just learn that happiness is when you are happy making others happy, not you being sad and miserable making others happy.
i'm not an arranged marriage basher, and i know someone will write back and say well, why are there so many divorces in love marriages, the reason i will give you with arranged marriages why there are less divorces is because the individuals put up with each other's shit.
i just think aarti. even though i too, love seeing the girl not knowing guy, and then falling in love, i've just seen so many ppl hurt because of arranged marriages...its not a solution, there are better alternatives out there, if arranged marriaged worked for you, good for you, but i am totally against it, that doesn't mean i'm all for sleeping with every guy you meet on the street, its just we have to get away from enforcing hurtful, hollow traditions of stereotypical women.
before, i get a swarm of ppl bashing me, i am open to ppl who hold different ideas of love, personally, i'd like to share it with just one person, but if others don't , i don't judge them.

Actually I agree with Arti. Though I myself will not (at least don't plan to) be a house-wife but the traditional Indian model of marriage is certainly the best acc to me. Parents are our well wishers...in most cases(for me at least) they know u best & have ur interests at heart. There are very few parents like Ekta's serial where parents force marriage without enquirung abt the boy. In arranged marriages, the groom's family background, his parents, his upbringing...everything is checked. In love marriages u know just the boy. He might be from a different culture, which may lead to adjustmental problems. n love marriage both the partners have certain expectations from each other, which may not always be practical(u know, like bringing flowers everytime...candlelite dinners...romantic outings etc). When such dreams are not fullfilled it results in heart break & dialouges like "Tum shaadi ke pehle aaise nahi the" I don't feel that arrange marriages don't break coz ppl put up with shit. Acc to me the expectations are less & the sense of responsibility more...hence ppl tend to adjust more than in love marriages.
And for me, it is a very romantic feeling to get to know ur hubby slowly & steadily. Dheere dheere uske saare gun aur kamzoriyan hame pata chalti hain...this is my idea of romance. Not that I'm against love or love marriage. I just feel that arranged marriages suit Indian society better & make u more mature
And the main question...what do I like in Bajaj-Prerna pair...I don't think anyone can put my views to words better than Arti has done. I agree completely with her
