Arnav's head flew to the side from the impact of her slap...he knew she would react...he just didn't know how...
The second she hit him, her mouth dropped open in shock...
Khushi expected him to turn into a rage monster and tell her off so she quickly turn to the side and closed her eyes...
Arnav wasn't angry...he felt that after all he had done, one slap wasn't enough...he had made her sleep outside, ruined her dreams for a perfect shaadi, segregate her from her family...he looked up at her and saw her rigid with fright...he quickly walked closer to her..."Khushi..."
She clasped her eyes even tighter and turned a fraction further away...
"Khushi, look at me please..."
She swung her head around slowly and peeked up at him...she was expecting fury, but she saw love...
"Khushi, i'm not angry at you..."
Khushi straightened slightly and quickly spoke..."I..I...well...you...you were..."
"I know...i didn't do it to take advantage of you...you're my wife...and i want to touch and pleasure you...but i wanted you to be aware of how YOU respond to ME..."
Khushi wanted to say that she didn't respond at all, but she knew that wasn't true..."I don't WANT to feel that way when you touch me! After everything you've done, i don't WANT to want you!"
Arnav felt his heart constricting...but he wasn't going to give up...he needed her...
"I've been stupid...a bloody fool...Full of pride and anger. Listening to other's lies and not finding out the truth on my own. I've been so insistent on putting everyone else's feelings first that i have neglected my own...and have hurt the one who means more to me than anyone else...You..."
"You've played with my heart too many times Arnavji..."
"yes. I have. And i'm done playing. You agreed to my challenges. And once they are over, i agreed to let you leave this room. But like i said, i won't stop there...you want to be with me. I KNOW you do. And i won't stop until i make you realize that..."
Khushi sat in amazement.
The day that Arnav had found out about her innocence, he had practically become her slave...begging, pleading, grovelling...crying, emoting and apologizing...and if that wasn't enough, the day that she left multiplied all this by a million...
But now...Now stood a man who knew of his wrongdoing, and was damn well going to right it.
He was driven by love and determination.
He had exhausted all other forms of repentance and now was pulling his final card...
Khushi almost became fearful...
No one had ever lost to Arnav Singh Raizada...not when he had this powerful look in his eye...
Arnav accessed Khushi...she was deep in thought...he already prepared himself for her refusal and her unwillingness to cooperate...and his repose wasn't going to budge...the challenges would ALL be carried out...and nothing was going to stop him...
i know, i know...it's a short update, but it's past midnight here again and i didn't want to leave you all mad at me for making Khushi slap Arnav...i will PM everyone tomorrow and have quite a few more updates coming soon...and they are seriously hot!!!
please comment!!!!!! I'm thinking one or two more challenges...what say?
i can be convinced to write more though...
