How would you describe your character Nitya, in Kkayvanjali?
> > Nitya has been portrayed as the ideal mother who loves her family
> with a vengeance…but actually she's hiding a searing pain. The truth
> is she hates her son Kavya. She thinks he is the result of her dead
> husband's infidelity. She then teams up with Anjali and masterminds
> a plan to drive Kavya insane.
> > What attracted you to the role?
> > I decided to do Kkavyanjali because: one, I needed a job, two, it
> was Ekta's production and three, the character was interesting and
> complex with both negative and positive aspects.
> > Has it been challenging to play Nitya?
> > So far, the character has been on a single tone note. But now it
> will get more interesting. In tonight's episode, it will be revealed
> that Nitya has been saving Anjali from getting caught and destroying
> evidence against her. This is the most important revelation of the
> story. It'll be interesting to shock the audience.
> > Is Nitya like Amrita Singh at all?
> > Yes, I think Ekta Kapoor created the character around my
> personality. Like Nitya, I am conservative, traditional and modern
> at the same time. Like her, I too am neither black nor white. I
> think even my appearance suits the character.
> > Do you think Nitya is justified in hating Kavya?
> > Nitya loved her husband deeply, so naturally, his infidelity had a
> deep effect on her. She's neither a bad person nor is she psychotic.
> There are different kinds of people in the world who react
> > to situations. This is the way she responds.
> > What do you think of TV as a medium vis--vis films?
> > Due to the long work hours and the pressure, television is
> definitely more demanding. Cinema gives an actor more space and
> time. Otherwise, your job as an actor remains the same. Also in
> television, since you play the same person day in and day out; the
> character tends to overtake the actor, which I think is great.
ekta cant spare a dead man also!!!
Imagine..Ronit's character...that he plays...each one of them except Ishaan has had a one-night stand...
let's hope that Kkavya's not a result of a stand and even more..that Mayank did'nt have it!!
hoping to see Ronit in the flashbacks when Nitya reveals the truth abt her behaviour and the past!!!
for all u confused ppl-
Ronit Roy plays Mayank Nanda, father of Kkavya and Husband of Nitya....he's shown to be dead...but me thinks he'll come back..
MSG to ekta---NOT ALL SINFULLY GOOD LOOKING HUNKS ARE PHILANDERS!!!
