Producers are in no mood for starry tantrums any more, and don't hesitate in replacing actors if the going gets tough for them

Irrfan replaces Neil
Neil was slated to portray a negative character in the sequel to Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster. However, the story of the film
changed and Neil's character was made much older, which resulted in the makers replacing him with Irrfan Khan.

Heroine's hero
Arunoday Singh had been signed for the film while Aishwarya was still a part of the project. However, he was replaced by actor Randeep Hooda just a few days before the film went on floors, with Kareena Kapoor as the leading lady. As per filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar, "The film was stalled for sometime. The story had changed and so had the character."

Vivek replaced
Vivek was likely to play gangster Dawood Ibrahim's character in Shootout at Wadala, but that stands cancelled now. Earlier this month, the director of the film Sanjay Gupta said that they got tired of waiting for Vivek to give a final confirmation. Vivek is now working on Bejoy Nambiar's film. The actor replacing him is undecided.

Esha replaces Jacqueline
Jacqueline, 26, was recently dropped from Raaz 3 when she expressed displeasure over having to wear skimpy outfits. Last week, producer Mukesh Bhatt lashed out against the actor, "Filmmakers are not going to sign Jackie to wear a sari. She didn't want to do certain things, so we replaced her with Esha (Gupta)." Esha is already working with the Bhatt camp in their flick Jannat 2.
