PETALS OF LOVE

The gleam of twilight blossomed my desire

The feather soft touch of memory,

He was my only solitaire,

With a daydream to marry.

There I walked with him, many a thousand mile,

But the journey seemed endless,

In my mind lingered his smile,

Oh! ever have I been so helpless.

He walked with me for a while, holding my precious dream

Walked in to give in to my loneliness only for some time.

A touch of grace for a while,

A sprinkle of love on the dying rhyme

It soothed my aching mind

And lifted my spirit from the grind.

Hope has its power

Love has its flavour

Life has its moments

But time?????

With time he rejuvenated my only hope, my love, my life

A glorified smile spread across as I walked down the aisle as his wife'..

oh my god di where were u these days u don't only write great ffs but also a mind blowing poet ~~ hats off to u ~~ ek hi poem mein ek pyar kahani keh dali ~~wow amazing ~~ ye poetry thread ka idea to bohot hi achha nikla ek se barkar ek poem read karneko mil rahein hain ~~ I'm glad u liked the idea di n I'm also glad I opened it otherwise how wud I've found abt Haffie n ur multi qualities "writer & poet" 2 in 1 Clap

keep writing di...loved it n wud love to read more from u ~~ hope through this poetry thread we discover more hidden talent...
