hi dears why can't we start one company of our own? I promise I will never behave like Aryan, Raj or Mallika or even Jassi. I have only one condition. Arman should be there, work or no work. He can be a tremendous inspiration.

Apart from that, yes, krangara, your analysis is correct. Apart from Jassi, none of the employees or directors of GM are fit to be in business in the present conditions. But there is tremendous potential in each of them. Only somebody should stream line there talents in the right direction, what do u say?

I think building a healthy culture within Gulmohar can help them even now.....cohesiveness is one of the key strengths of a good working environment.....yes, disagreements are a part of and very vital to any successful business......but, downright hostility murders your organization!

Let's look at GM's employees before Jassi's makeover:

1.  Armaan Suri - quite simply, he became the CEO only because he was Puru's son.  As a CEO, he made one good decision - employing Jassi!!!!  But what else did he do?  He created Kohinoor without informing the Board of Directors, which is a clear sign of mistrust.....and he did it to conceal GM's poor 'sales reports' LOL......he spent more time chasing short skirts than planning strategic moves for the betterment of GM!!!!

2.  Raj - I wonder how he was even employed!!!!!!!  Aside wrongly advising Armaan over personal matters (like chasing kudis or marrying Mallika to keep GM) or professional matters (like pacifying Jassi and playing with her heart so that she would not leave GM!), he did nothing...always flirtatious, he did not display a single ounce of business sense!!!!

3.  Aryan - arranges for a spy to look into GM's reports.....only concentrates on finding ways to put down Armaaan......I have never seen him NOT using scarcasm in a single monologue!!!!  His only ambition is to become the CEO of GM, acquire that title of power......and never selflessly help GM

4.  Mallika - *sigh* The only young board member who displayed drive and talent to help the company!!! Really sad that she has an ego bigger than the state of California!!!! :D If only the two brains, Jassi and Mallika, had coordinated well together as professionals, GM would have soared in the world of fashion!!!!

5.  Maddy:  Yes, a highly talented fashion designer.....but again focussed his energy on building an image for himself!!!

6.  Armaan's mom:  The most irritating character.....AngryA plastic princess with no substance!!!

7.  Armaan's dad:  Poor guy....years of his hardwork are ruined by the selfish youngsters - Armaan, Aryan, Jassi, Mallika, and Raj!  What could he do?

Flashback to all those board meetings when Armaan and Aryan fought like a bunch of teenagers!!!!  OR when Jassi, Armaan, and Raj hid Kohinoor from the rest of the board.....OR when Mallika never spared an opportunity to offend Jassi.....OR when Jassi wasted her time trying to seek revenge from Armaaan....GM neither had the tangible (smart, dedicated professionals) nor had the intangible (cohesive, friendly, mutually respectful work environment!).......enough to realize whey GM failed under Armaan's reign!

BUT, I was happy to see A, A, R, and M sharing ideas yesterday.....gives me a ray of hope that they might have learnt from their mistakes and will try to rebuild Gulmohar's reputation together.....BUT WHY WASN't PURU UNCLE PRESENT?  Isn't he the INTERIM CEO?

Agree to an extent....especially Mallika!  It's quite obvious that she is well-versed in business and dedicated to GM's cause, but her ego always obstructs her from effectively translating her ideas into actions!!!!!  Her biggest mistake is that she cannot accept that Jassi's contribution has been vital because, in her perception, middle-class ugly ducklings have no talent!!!!

BUt do you think Raj has any potential? LOL

I also agree with puja in that they need to establish a system of heirarchy. Right now there are titles floating around (dunno if Aryan actually has one for that matter!Confused) but noone's in charge. Maybe the changed Armaan could work for the betterment of the company by actually heading it....it's wonderful to keep everyone at the same level but if no work is being done then someone needs to take charge of the reins! That's what has been lacking in GM....besides since resignations  don't matter (or did they just resign from the board and not the company in general?....sorry short term memory so can't remem the details to that extent) Armaan definitely has a second chance to prove his worth as far as his business skills are concerned....he better make good use of it!

Agreed......heading the company seems very important to each one of them......but improving the company's prospects as the head is something none of them have thought about or have any ideas about!!!

And, like ummm mentioned, the core of the problem lies in the fact that GM is a family-owned business.  Hence, there is a constant struggle for upmanship, but, in the midst of these personal arguments, nothing productive is ever accomplished!!!!

And why should every goal be accomplished either by cheating or flirting!

For example, forget that Jessica is Jassi for a second, and think that she is just another hyped newcomer.....now, regard Mallika's 'bright' plan to trap Jessica in Armaan's love!!!

It's not imperative that Jessica has to fall in love with Armaan in order to model for GM!!! lolzzzzz......if GM provides a good-enough offer and persuades Jessica through presentations and meetings, I am sure she will agree......on the other hand, if this model actually falls for Armaan's superficial compliments, she is too gullible, easy, and not a very bright long-term prospect!!!

If, tomorrow, the Gladrags Manhunt winner decides to own a company and flirts with Jessica, will she forget GM and flit to him?  :D

Krangara, if only TektaDekta let I-F have some input, the whole
show would make a lot more sense...but why settle for
sense...when you can have nonsense! Big smile
