KD calls Kavya and she appears in the witness box. Sweety reveals that she gave 1.5 crores to a channel so that they could take her serial. Kavya reveals the next main scandal article was related to her and so she hired Udit to make her change the article as her career was dependent upon the article. KD asks if she killed the lady to trap Sweety? She rejects this statement and the prosecutor says all the witnesses are wrong but nothing proves that any of them are the culprit.
KD again visits the crime scene and wishes geet could understand what Victoria aka the cat is trying to say. The clock strikes 12 and suddenly the cat jumps near the clock. KD is unable to understand this behavior of her and Varun guesses that perhaps she thinks the artificial bird of this clock is real. KD examines the clock and asks Neelam if her late mistress changed it? She replies that since she's here, nothing in this house is replaced. KD asks for photographs of the clock and cupboard near that before her death.
Next day in the court, KD reveals that Neelam didn't go to her home. She accepts this and says she went with her friend and spoke lie to both Miss Mistery and her mother. The prosecutor shows the photograph of her with a guy of the party where she went.
KD thinks something and says they are mistaken. Till now everyone thought someone has trapped Sweety but it isn't so. Someone wanted to kill Miss Mistery for her property which was worth 3 crores.
KD shows the photographs to of the cupboard to her and tells her to find out the difference. She's unable to do but KD tells her that a book is missing. He takes the permission of judge and then connects laptop with Tv. The photographs are shown in the screen and a book related to American birds is missing. KD reveals that the book costs 17 crores and 50 lakhs.
The prosecutor questions how did she get murdered? KD explains that someone fixed the gun in the clock and when half an hour passed. The gun came outside instead of the bird and so Miss Mistery was dead.
He shows the clock and further says it's a new one replaced by someone. The shop name was there and he calls the shopkeeper. He says it's of his shop and points towards the building secretary as he was the one who purchased the clock.
He appears in the witness box and KD says he thought about him as a librarian can know about the books very well. He accepts his crime and reveals that he wanted to purchase the book but she never agreed and hence he had to kill her to get the book. At last he says money can make a simple librarian like him a killer.
