Why is Chaavi still ????

Why is Chaavi still in further education? I don't understand they are strongly against the idea that girls should study further yet Chaavi is allowed. I think it would have been better if it was that they let Mohit study because Suraj wants his brother to make something of himself but kept Chaavi home after 7th grade.

That way bhabo could always use Chaavi as an example when ever she is bad mouthing other girls. They could've given that bhabo tries to teach Chaavi all the house work but Chaavi being Chaavi would try and do everything she can do to get out of it and do what she does best (stirring things for her SIL's) Angry

I hate people who have double standards, one rule for others and one rule for themselves, and that is exactly what bhabo is Angry

Nope Bhaboo or any one in family is against of gals being educated, she was against to have a gal who is more educated than Suraj ... she is not completely wrong in that area ...

Chavi thinks she is queen as she is educated

Bhaboo always said and asked even forced chavi to take part in house hold chores n with cooking ,

bhabho has no right to badmouth sandhya when chavi is allowed to complete her graduation...very nice post.

I cant wait to see chavvis reaction when she learns sandy is educated as shes always been so nasty to her for being uneducated.

Right! The only constraint that Bhabho has is that her daughter-in-law had to be lesser educated than Suraj. This notion of hers was after Suraj's first alliance broke wherein his bride-to-be was a graduate who probably didn't like the proposal and went missing on the wedding day causing deep embarrassment to Bhabho and others. Later when Sandhya's alliance was brought, Bhabho insisted that the girl be not highly educated.

To be very frank, I dont accept ANYBODY has any say in anybody's education. Period.

Sandhyaji wants to get further education, nobody should torture her only for that...

I guess thats why Sooraj will stand against babho this time

Agreed that Bhabo had wanted a less educated girl for Suraj.

But at the same time, it is shown that Bhabo is not in favour of higher education for girls. Remember Suraj quoting Bhabo when the rude girls' had misbehaved at his shop?
