With 2011 leaving us, we take a look at the entertainment the year brought for all the telly-buffs out there. This year was a great for Indian television as it brought new shows and entertained the audiences like never before.

Diya aur Baati Hum

A silent hit, Star Plus' Diya Aur Baati Hum, is about Sandhya's struggle who wants to be IPS officer but compromises with her dream when circumstances force her to marry. Her husband Sooraj is seventh pass and runs a sweet shop but is supportive and comforting. Anas Rashid aka Sooraj and debutant Deepika Singh both have done a great job and they look really good on-screen. The audiences also love Bhaboo's character who brings the nuances of a saas and Rajasthani culture to the core.

I adore bhaboo for showing different shades of a true person

Deepika and Anas rock as onscreen couple, never much of romance of touching , but their romance in general is innovative enough
