I agree on Jingle's comment. Purab is quite protective about Jessica/Jassi.
He is trying to do everything in his power to make her forget her past and
what is coming across is that he isn't quite concerned that she has a
family who are in grave danger of going to jail or getting into some
bigger trouble. Per his comment to Jassi about taking the place of her
family in her heart even for a little while tells me that he thinks that he
can take the place of each and every person in her heart. He is putting up
a fascade to himself that he wants Jassi to be stronger, but what is really
happening is that he is fixated on distancing Jassi from everyone that will
remind her of Armaan.

One thing that JJKN has always been clear on is that Jassi and her family
are one unit. The Walia family are not like the extended families that you
see in the K serials. What has really been nice about the Walia family is
that they are a nuclear family and the focus has always remained on
them. Jassi's goal is to clear the name of her family and herself. Her
going to Paris, will it make her stronger?? Perhaps stronger in the sense
that she will have a lot more training as a model, but it won't help her
accomplish her to clear her name from the fraud scandel. Purab in his
fear of loosing Jassi is not realizing what could happen to her family in
the meantime. He knows how important her family is to her and her
family is already going through so much. To Jassi/Jessica's credit, she
has not really mentioned missing Armaan or thinking of him, she has
mainly focused on her family and it doesn't seem like Purab is taking this
into consideration. His argument is that he is trying to help Jassi become
stronger, but at the cost of further distancing herself from her family and
placing them in more danger?

Of course, those of us loyal JJKN fans have not heard any news of Jassi
being in Paris, so it is most likely that she doesn't go unless the news was
confidential which I highly doubt...we always know where Mona goes...
😆

I don't think T&D have any intentions of turning Purab evil. He is a good
guy, however, at this point Purab is coming across quite protective. He is
wanting Jassi to forget everything about her past that will remind her of
Armaan.

great job JP. umm, well purab isnt really that negative. he just wants her to forget her past and move on, and not look back. and he didn't know anything about Bebe getting an heart attack. perhaps, if he knew, he would send her back. he mite be a lil khud garz, but only for the reason so jassi doesnt go heartbroken again. he is trying to teach her of reaching goals on her own.

I dont really see Purab trying to distance Jassi from her family or taking their place in Jassi's life......that is a gross misjudgement because if it were true, he wouldnt have sacrificed his love and left Jassi earlier......

even at the airport, when Jassi was getting all nostalgic abt her family, he didnt try to divert her attention to something new, instead he reintroduced a familiar, old  tradition that more meaning in Jassi's life and meant something for her....that translates as someone doing all he could to help the one he loves.... he was definately not trying to take bebe's or Amrit's place......he was giving her strength....

what he is guilty of doing is being over protective, but considering that Jassi's only sound defences (her family, her old looks) are no longer with her, he feels bound to protect her from any hurt.....and Jassi is vulnerable right now, she is venturing into a world that she knows nothing abt, the blessings of her loved ones are not with her.... in addition, he has some prior gulit abt leaving Jassi, even if it was so that she could reunite with Armaan......

Purab might be acting a lttle heavy handedly presently, but that is no different from what could have been expected of a friend and someone who is in love with Jassi

I think Purab is switching roles again! He changed from being a business takeover to makeover tycoon! Now he is becoming a takeover tycoon yet again! He is trying to take over the situation and Jassi's brain! 😆 I am waiting for the change from takeover to makeover again... this time to make over with Jassi and promise her to not interfere in her life too much! 😊

Purab is trying to protect jassi and he does not know that her family is in danger ! i agree with all ! but this is also true that for the first time we are seeing Purab being jealous and he is not letting jassi to meet armaan for that also.he  now knows itc learly that armaan has confessed all and he went to lock-up only to save jassi's family!  purab heard every words of armaan in TV . isn't it strange that he is not rethinking about armaan still ? anybody in such a situation would re-think that may be armaan is a changed man now, because this armaan suri is strikingly different from the earlier armaan suri! but. no, purab is not interested to think about it! rather, perhaps he feels that armaan is changed now and jassi could go back to his arms, and that's why he is trying hard to take jassi away from him! he is trying hard that jasi does not meet armaan face -o face! what does it mean? although he is a good guy, and he is helping jassi in every possible way. he is also jealous this time. and , believe me guys i am really enjoyng this Purab!this is a human Purab, not the Purab god!

I think his actions are making Jessica more and more dependent person. Jassi was never like this. She used to discuss things with Nandu but she was never dependent on him. Here, Jessica seems to have lost completely.
