Lavanya and Nikhil are in the car towards Khandala… Nikhil is all mushy and romantic while Lavanya is looking quite tense… Lavanya wants to tell Nikhil about Tanya, but then thinking that Nikhil would not take it easily and would blame Shekhar, she keeps quiet… Shekhar and Tanya are sitting in a park… both are quiet trying to avoid talking about the problem looming large on them… Shekhar tells her not to loose heart… he will find some way out of it… Tanya gets up and leaves saying, "…tum yahan baithe solution sochte raho… tab tak main dekhti hoon is bachche ka kya karna hai…" Shekhar is shocked… he goes behind Tanya and holds her hand… "…What do you mean by saying bachche ka kya karna hai… you are not going to do that… you know what I mean (abortion)…" Tanya is bitter as she says how does that matter to Shekhar… saying this, she starts running away from Shekhar while he tries to hold her back… in this struggle, Tanya's feet slip and she falls on a rock badly. "…Tanya!!!…" And Lavanya gets up with a jerk… she has dozed off and has been daydreaming … Nikhil brings the car to a halt and asks her what happened. Lavanya tells Nikhil to push Sarla aunty for Shekhar and Tanya's marriage… but Nikhil dismisses it by saying, "…ek teraf to tum khus jyotishon ki baat mein yaqeen karti ho… aur doosri teraf keh rahi ho ki dadi purane khayal ki hain… are, sirf saal bhar ki hi to baat hai …" Shekhar helps Tanya to her feet. He tells her categorically that she is not to think of abortion in any circumstances. Shekhar with finality declares that he will make everyone agree to their early marriage … Come what may … He would talk to Sarla and convince her. Lavanya opens the rucksack to get some water… bottle is empty… Nikhil says he will stop at some shop… At a paanwala shop, there are two gundatype men standing nearby talking to each other … Nikhil's car come and halts in front of them… Nikhil gets down and goes to buy a bottle of water… Nikhil doesn't have change to pay for the water and shows all 500/- 1,000/- Rs. Notes… seeing the money and the gold bangles Lavanya is wearing, goons' eyes brighten. Nikhil takes the water bottle and leaves. Shekhar is trying to figure how to break it to Sarla that the wedding should be preponed because Tanya is pregnant. Before he can get to it Sarla starts saying that she is very lucky to have a bahu like Tanya, as she is very cultural and not like girls of modern days. Shekhar doesn't want to ruin the image Sarla has of Tanya, he has no option but to keep quiet. But Sarla gets a hint that Shekhar wanted to talk about his marriage to Tanya… as Shekhar gets up to leave, she smiles and calls out, "…main teri dadi se baat karungi… ok…" This is the first time Sarla is questioning Dadi's decision of postponing the wedding by a year … motivated by Shekhar's unhappiness over the delay. To which Dadi has a very flat answer, "…tumhara beta hai… agar tumhein meri baat achchhi nahin lagti, to tum apne bete ki shadi karwa do… lekin agar kuchh ulta seedha ho gaya, to mujhe kuchh mat kehna…" Sarla also understands that she is not wrong… Dadi gets emotional and after apologizing for being rude, she tells Sarla that she is no enemy to Shekhar… all she wants is the well being of her family… she has already have the pain of her son being paralyzed… upon that she doesn't want to take any chance Sarla comes back and informs him that this marriage is not possible… what his dadi is saying is absolutely right… Shekhar becomes miserable as he tries his level best to make her understand. Tanya is tense in her room… she is unable to understand how to tackle with this situation… Leela comes and asks her what is the matter… out of an emotional breakdown, she is about to spill the beans and tell her everything, that the phone rings… it is Lavanya on the other end… she speaks with Tanya and tells her not to worry… she will come soon and would make sure that everything normalizes… thus she prevents Tanya from telling Leela about it… The two goons are discussing how much would these two i.e Nikhil & Lavanya be worth … would it better to kidnap them or just rob them. Meanwhile Nikhil and Lav are settling down. They are having some food and lassi. All this while Goons are watching them and making some plan. Nikhil and Lavanya leave from there and we see goons following both of them in another car… after a nice build up of car chases, we see that the goons stop Nikhil and Lavanya in a quiet roadside by intercepting the vehicle… Nikhil gets down asking what is the matter, what do they want… both the goons take out knives and ask them to hand over all the money and jewellery fatafat and run away… But Nikhil is not ready… he tries fighting them and as a result of this, Nikhil gets hurt and his hand starts bleeding… Lavanya runs to him calling out his name loudly…
