~Incomplete Love Story~
Angad- Come on Kripa you have to go to my basketball game
Kripa- I wish I could but I have to start my work again sorry
A- Fine whatever
Kripa could tell Angad was mad.
K- Next time I promise I'll come!
A- No need, I don't need you there
K- Angad! Stop acting like a kid!
A- Whatever I have to go
Angad walked out of the bedroom with Kripa following him.
K- You can't do this!
A- Do what
K- Make me feel guilty
A- I had no intention of doing so what so ever
K- Liar!
A- I have to go bye
Angad got his coat and left the house
K- Uhhhgg!
Angad was in the locker room, h w as putting his tennis shoes on when one of his friends came to him.
Guy- Hey buddy whats up?
Angad- Good, what about you Josh
Josh- Im great! 100 % were going to win today!
A- Yeah
J- What's the matter u seem out of it?
A- No not at all
J- Anyways wheres Aryan?
A- He's at home with Kripa
J- Kripa? Whose she?
A- My wife...Aryan's mom
J- What your married!
A- I've been married, anyways its time to go on the court
J- Yeah, is Kripa here?
A- No I told her to come but she had other stuff to do
J- That sux
A- Yeah I know, anyways lets go
Angad was on the court. playing. They were winning to the other team by six points. Angad heard some familiar voices coming from the bench. His eyes followed from where the voices were coming from. He smiled when his eyes reached the destination.
Kripa- Go Angad!!!!!! Go Angad!!!!
Aryan- Come on Dad!!!!
Angad lipped a "I love you" to both of them. He got back into the game. This time working harder and with a smile on his face.
Josh saw Angad look at Aryan and the girl with him. He figured it was Kripa. He noticed how Angad's frown changed into a glowing smile. He was happy for his friend.
The second half of the game Angad was running and dribbling the ball when he tripped on the opponent's foot. Angads leg twisted and his body slammed to the ground.
Kripa-Angad!!!!!!!!!
Kripa ran onto the court and went to Angad.
K- Angad are you okay?
A- I can't move my leg, Kripa I can't move my leg!
Peramidics put Angad on a stretcher and were carrying him out.
Aryan- Mom what happened to dad, is he okay?
K- Yeah Aryan hes going to be okay, don't worry honey
Kripa followed the ambulance in her car.
In the hospital:
Josh came too. He was worried.
Kripa went to the doctor.
K- He's been in there for three hours, whats going on?
Doctor- Look ma'am we're trying to see whats wrong with his leg, I'm not going to lie to you...it's serious.
The doctor left back into Angad's room. Kripa froze. Tears flowed down her eyes. She turned around when she heard a voice say her name.
K- Do I know you
Josh- No, I'm Josh, Angad's friend, we're on the same team
K- Oh
J- Don't worry, he'll be okay
K- I hope
The doctor came out after an hour.
Doctor- We performed the operation on him, but please follow me to my cabin, you too Mr. Josh
Kripa and Josh followed the doctor.
The doctor took out some x-rays.
Doctor- This is Angad's bone. As you can see this one has been torn apart and these two have been detached from each other......
K- Will he be able to walk?
Doctor- Look I'm trying to say
K- Just tell me! Will he be able to walk?
Doc- In a couple of weeks Yes
Kripa slightly smiled.
Doc- But he can never play basketball again. If he does then maybe he won't be able to even walk. Putting to much pressure on his leg isn't good for him. I hope you understand.
K- Of coarse
Doc- And I hope you make your husband understand too. I think it'll be better if you break the news to him.
Josh- Thanks doctor.
Kripa and Josh left the office.
Aryan came to Kripa.
Ary- Mom I'm thirsty
Josh- Come on I'll take you to get something to drink
K- Thanks Josh
J- No problem your like a sister to me
Kripa went to Angad's room. Angad had his eyes closed. Kripa came and sat next to him. Angad felt her presence and opened his eyes.
K- How r u feeling now?
A-sarcastic- On top of the world
K- Sorry
A- Kripa I love you
K- I love you too
A- So when am I getting discharged?
K- Well the doctor said you could leave tomorrow morning, but you have to take great care of yourself.
A- I will, I'll rest all this week and then I'll be ready for my game next week
K- I can't believe you Angad! It'll take at least a month before you can even walk again! And your talking about playing your stupid basketball game next week!!!
Kripa started crying. She was about to run out of the room but ANgad caught her by the hand.
A- There's something your not telling me
K- ....................
A- What is it?
K...................
A- Tell me!
Kripa sat by Angad . She hugged him.
K- Angad, by gods grace you can walk again, but you can't ever play basketball again.....
A----------------
Angad froze and he was speechless. But tears did in fact flow down out of his eyes. Kripa hugged him tighter. She wished she could take all his pain away.
