~Incomplete Love Story~
Its been a week since Aryan came to India. Kripa and Aryan had a lot of fun together. They both decided it was time for Angad to come to India.
K- Ok, so r we sure about this?
Ary- Yes mom! Come on!
K- Okay
Ary- 1st we have to fool grandpa.
K- Why him?
Ary- So he won't be so surprised when dad comes.
K- Fine
Kripa laid Aryan in bed and tucked him in. She got a thermometer and stuck it by a light bulb.
Ary- What r u doing?
K- Making the thermometer get high
Ary- Why do I have a feeling you've done this before?
K- haha! I used to do this all the time when I was a kid.
Ary- Really and u got away with it?
K- Yep, I was such a good actress, my dad never suspected me of lying
Ary- Really? One time I tried faking sick with dad, but he caught me.
K- Well I can teach u a few tricks later
Ary- Cool
K- Ok, now I'm going to go get dad, start acting and put the thermometer in your mouth
Ary- okay
Kripa went to the living room where Raj was reading the morning paper.
R- Good morning beta, is Aryan up yet?
K- No dad, Aryans sick
R- what!
Raj got up and ran to Aryan's room.
Raj came in and saw Aryan groaning and pale. He had a thermometer in his mouth. Raj sat on the bed and took the thermometer out of his mouth.
R- OMG! He has a 102 fever
K- He probably couldnt get adjusted to the heat
R- Your right. Did you call a doctor yet?
K- Umm....actually I did, but the doctor said its normal and should go away in a couple of days
R- Well did he prescribe any medicine?
K- Umm yeah, I sent a servant to go get them just now
R- Poor kid, well let him rest............Did you tell Angad?
K- No, should I?
R- Well he has every right to know what's going on with his son, give him a call.
K- Okay
Raj got up and left and Kripa and Aryan gave each other a high five.
K- Great job!
Ary- Thanks, you too
K- Thanks but nows the hard part
Ary- Calling dad?
K- yep
Ary- I know, but you can do it, come on!
K- Ok
Kripa picked up the phone and dialed Angad's number.
RING RING RING RING
No one picked up the phone.
K- Should I leave a message?
Ary- No...try his cell
K- Okay
She dialed his cell phone and Angad picked up.
A- Hello?
K- Hey Angad, its me
Angad was suprised Kripa called him, she never called his cell phone unless it was something serious.
K- You there?
A- Yeah, yeah, so why'd you call, is everything alright?
K- No, Aryan's sick.
A- What!!! How? When? Why?
K- Calm down, calm down. He has a fever and he just got it this morning.
A- OMG! Im coming to India right now!
K- You don't have to, I can take care of him
A- I know you can, but........I'm coming
K- Okay, he's remembering you a lot anyways, so I guess it'll help if you come.
A- Okay
K- When are you coming?
A- Im about to go to the airport, I'll let you know about my tickets
K- Okay, I'll come to the airport to pick you up
A- K thanks
K- Bye
A- Bye
K- And Angad, dont worry, he'll be fine
A- I hope so
Kripa put the phone down and saw Aryan smiling.
Ary- So he's coming right?
K-dryly- Yeah
Ary- Why dont u sound so happy?
K- Because he's all worried and getting worked up for nothing
Ary- Yeah
K- I feel bad for lying
Ary- But there was no other way
K- I guess your right
Ary- Okay so dads coming, this is great!
K- Yep he'll be here by tomorrow
Kripa and Aryan we're excited all day. Aryan had to lay in bed to make it believable he was sick. Kripa would bring him soups and medicine and Raj was convinced he was sick. Aryan fell asleep and Kripa went to the living room. She cooked dinner and like usual Prithvi also came. The three had a good dinner. Then Kripa had to break the news Angad was coming to India.
K- I have to tell you guys something
P- What?
K- You know Aryan is sick and everything, so when I called Angad he got worried. So he's going to come here tomorrow.
R- That's great. At least I'll get to see him now.
Kripa saw Prithvi get uncomfortable.
P- Excuse me
Prithvi got up and left.
Raj signaled Kripa to go talk to him so Kripa did.
Kripa followed Prithvi outside and stopped him.
K- Prithvi wait!
P- I just remembered I have to do something
K- Come on Prithvi, I know this is about Angad
P- Im sorry
K- It's not your fault, I know you remember Priya every time you hear Angad's name.
P- It's not that I don't like Angad, its just......he screwed up, and when he did he screwed five lives up
K- But it was my fault too, I could have made him understand the truth, I shouldn't have let him go
P- What r u trying to say?
K- Prithvi, someone told me you only live once, but if you do it right then once is enough. I want to make things right, I need to show Angad the truth.
P- You mean you planned Angad coming here------
K- Yes, me and Aryan are just acting.
Prithvi smiled at Kripa- Kripa, I hope your successful
K- Me too, but you know what Prithvi, maybe, maybe when the world knows me and Angad are back together Priya will hear it, then maybe she'll come back too
P- I hope your right.
Kripa and Prithvi had a friendly hug and Prithvi went home.
The next day Kripa woke up and was excited Angad was coming. She took a shower and got dressed, then her cell rang. She knew it was Angad.
K- Hey!
A- Hey my flights will land in one hour.
K- Okay, I'll be there.
A- Okay, well I have to go now, bye
K- Bye
Kripa jumped up and down a hundred times at least. She felt so young, so fresh again! Everything felt beautiful.
Kripa went to Aryans room.
K- Good morning!!!
Aryan slowly opened his eyes.
Aryan- Why r u so happy?
K- Because the love of my life is coming today!!!
Ary-smiling- Really, if I remember a couple of days ago you were saying you two wern't meant to be together.
K- I did? That couldnt have been me.
Ary- Sure, anyways, whens dad coming?
K- In two hours!!!
Ary- Cool can I go to the airport with u?
K- I would let you but your supposed to be "sick" remember
Ary- Being sick sucks
K- My poor baby! I love you!
Ary- Right back at cha
K- Ok well Im going to go get you some breakfast, you go take a shoer
Ary- Ok
Kripa went and got Aryan and Raj breakfast.
Raj- So Angads coming?
K- Yeah dad. Is it okay if he stays with us?
Raj- What kind of question is that, Angads family, of coarse he can.
K- Thanks, well Im going to go give Aryan his breakfast
R- Hows he feeling now?
K- Better than before
R- Good
Kripa went and gave Aryan his breakfast in bed.
K- Ok, now I have to go get Angad. Bye
Kripa kissed Aryan on the cheek.
Ary- Bye
At the airport Kripa was waiting for Angad. She finally saw him coming. A smile spread across her face.
Angad approached her after seeing her.
A- Hows Aryan now!
K- He's at home, he's better than before.
A- I felt so bad for not being with him
K- Relax, its just a fever, its normal in a kid's life.
A- I know, but I want to be there with him every time he's sick, every time he's in trouble
K- I understand
A- Sorry
K- What for?
A- For interfering in your summer with Aryan
K- Your not interfering, he's your son, you have every right to see him whenever you want
A- Thanks
K- Let's go, otherwise you'll die if you dont see him soon
A- Yeah
On the car ride home they got stuck in traffic.
A- India's traffic, its still the same
K- So are a lot of other things
A- Like what?
K- Like many things, decide for yourself
A- You seem different
K- I do, how?
A- I don't know, its just you seem...happier
K- I am happy, Im happy Im with Aryan
K- (whisper)- Im happy I'm with you
A- Did you say something
K- No
Angad did hear what Kripa said and smiled to himself. Why did things seems as if they were going to get better? Why did it feel like "old times?"
