BEEP BEEP BEEP
Kripa leaned over and turned her alarm clock off. After five minutes of more sleeping she got up and went to the bathroom. She took a shower and came out ready to start a new day. She was still distracted by what happened last night, but she tried to let it go.
As she went past Aryan's room, she noticed he was still sleeping, Angad's door was closed, so she assumed he too was still asleep. She made her way downstairs.
Kripa was bored. She thought why not make everyone breakfast, she went into the kitchen, where the maid was cleaning.
K- Good Morning
Maid- Good Morning ma'am.
K- Whats your name?
Maid- My name is Betty(Shes a white maid of coarse because its New York, Betty is also kind of old.)
K- Hi Betty, my names Kripa
Betty- Your Aryan's mom right?
K- Yes
B- He's a very nice boy, he's lucky to have good parents like you guys
K-Thanks, If you dont mind, can I make breakfast today?
B- I dont see why not, go right ahead, if you need anything just holler.
K- Thanks
Betty left and Kripa started thinking about what to make.
K-thinking- I should make Indian food, since they probably eat American food everyday.
Kripa made Aloo de Paratha with other things.
Now she decided to go wake them up.
Kripa entered Aryan's room. She went near his bed and softly said- Aryan, honey its 11 o clock, wake up now
Aryan didnt move.
K-softly- Bright and shine! Wake up now, I even made breakfast, come on.
Aryan still didnt wake up.
Kripa lightly shook him, but he didn't budge.
K-God what do I do now?
She heard a voice answer her question, it was Angad.
A- Kripa, want me to help?
Kripa turned around and gave him a faint smile and said- Please
Angad sat on the opposite side of the bed from Kripa.
A- Okay this is how u wake up this guy!
Angad started tickling Aryan.
Aryan woke up
Ary- laughing- Dad stop it!
A- Will u wake up?
Ary-still laughing- Noooooooooooooo
Angad- still tickling him- Are you sure about that?
Ary- Noo, I'll wake up!
Angad stopped tickling Aryan and Aryan sat up on his bed.
K- Wow it worked.
Ary- U were on this too?
K- No, I just watched.
A- Well theres no other way to wake u up buddy, when we find one then tickling will be history
Ary- Fine
K- Okay now u too go get ready I made breakfast
Ary- Thats what smells good.
K- Yep!
A- It smells familiar, it smells like.....Aloo Paratha!
K- Yep!
Angad loved Paratha. He had Kripa make it for him everyday when they were together and Kripa happily made it. He loved Indian food over continental food any day.
A-happily- I'm going to go take a shower and I'll be right out!
K- Don't worry the paratha wont run away.
K and Ary laughed.
Angad was too excited to say anything back.
Kripa and Aryan were left in the room.
K- Okay go brush your teeth
Ary- Do I have to?
K-Yes you do! Now go.
Aryan went to the bathroom and Kripa helped him get ready.
K- Who usually gets you ready?
Ary- Dad
K- Thats nice.
Afterwards Kripa and Aryan went downstairs. A couple of minutes later Angad came.
Kripa set out the food , now the three were sitting on the table eating.
A- Its delicious.
K- Thanks, I thought u guys might need a change of food
A- U could say that again.
Ary- Whats the day of the week today?
A- Tuesday
K- No its Wednesday
A- **** its Wednesday?
Ary- Dad isnt today.--
A cut in- Todays your first grade graduation party!
K-excited- OMG first grade graduation!!! What time is it?
A- I think 6pm.
K- I cant wait!!!
Ary- Do we have to go?
K- What do you mean "do we have to go" of coarse we're going! Besides you only graduate out of first grade once.
Ary- But theres always 2nd grade, 3rd, 4th, and so many more graduations
K- Shhh! We'r going and thats final, right Angad?
A- Umm...sure, if u want.
K- Why do I feel like Im the only happy person here?
A- As long as I have my paratha I'm happy.
Ary- Fine,.....Im happy too.
K- Good!
After breakfast Kripa went upstairs to Aryan's room. She started looking through his wardrobe.
K- Does this boy have any suits?
Kripa couldnt find any so she went downstairs to ask Angad, who was playing a basketball video game with Aryan.
K- What r u doing Angad?
A- Practicing
K- What?
A- Yeah, Im a basketball player so I have to practice dont I?
K- Yeah....but I never heard of anyone practicing on...video games.
Ary- Oh mom, dads Number 1, he knows what he's doing.
K- Okay, anyways, Angad I have a question.
Angad paused the game and gave Kripa his attention.
A- Shoot!
K- I was just wondering where do u keep Aryan's suits?
A- What does he need a suit for, hes 7.
K- i know, but I thought it would be appropriate for him to wear a suit to his graduation.
A- Oh..., well I dont think he has any.
K- Crud! Well, I guess I'll go get him one. What size r u?
Aryan- I dunno
A- Umm I dont know either, I just take him and see what fits, and that I buy.
K- Well then I guess I'll have to take Aryan with me.
Ary- Mom, I hate shopping.
K- No son of mine can hate shopping, it runs in our veins to love shopping.
A- Boy r u wrong
K-whispers to herself- If only I had a daughter too.
Angad had heard her and smiled to himself.
A- Kripa what was that.
K-trying to cover up- nothing! Please go with me Aryan!
Ary- Okay mom if u say so.
K- .....Do u want to go Angad?
A- Naaa, I'm fine.
K- Okay bye.
Kripa and Aryan were walking out of the house, but they stopped after they heard Angad call for Kripa.
A- Kripa wait!
Kripa turned around.
K- What is it?
A- How r u going to get to the mall?
K- Cab
A- No, the roads r 2 busy today, It'll take u forever to catch one.
Ary- So we'll take one of the cars.
K- Yeah
A- Well that would be fine but theres no driver here today.
K- So I'll drive.
A- I think your forgetting Kripa, this is America.
K- I know this is America
A- Then u also know that your India's citizen
K- Yes.....So?
A- Meaning you dont have an American license to drive a car
K- Gotcha. Darn it, now what do we do?
A- I'll take you guys.
K- Thanks
The three went to a mall. They were shopping and looking at clothes, Kripa started walking but someone bumed into her. Kripa helped the girl pick up her bags.
K- Im sorry
Kripa got a glimpse of the girl and it was no other than......Mishty.
I know it was boring, but I'll try my best to make it better!
