Various people who were by passing through this highway when the weather was giving way got diverted to this motel, which seemed to be their only hope for survival through such unforeseen circumstances.
A family encounters a flat tyre while they are traveling on a highway. Due to the stormy weather conditions they meet with a fatal accident wherein the wife is brutally hit. They are left with no choice but to take her to the nearest available place where they can find some medical aid. But to their misery they are brought to this motel where their life undergoes trauma.
Also arriving in the same motel is a young couple Avinash-Mahek (Rajiv Singh-Kainaaz) who were on the way to their honeymoon. Others who arrive at the motel include a prostitute – Sonia (Shilpa Shetty), a Starlet – Kashmira (Rakhi Sawant) whose car earlier bumped off the woman and her secretary.
The receptionist Adi (Vrajesh Hirjee) somehow manages to accommodate all of them, in various rooms.
After having the guests stationed in respectable rooms, another car comes in due to unforeseen weather conditions wherein a cop – Jatin (Shahwar Ali) is on his way to another prison. He is transferring one of the convicts (Kelly Dorjee), who is along with him, to another prison. He is also eventually given a temporary shelter in this Motel, where in the convict is brought in the room, wrapped in handcuffs.

Lucky (Sneha Ullal) is the quintessential dreamer - soft, beautiful and gentle. Her one big belief is that if you search from the bottom of your heart then you can find the rainbow, not just the rainbow but also the crock of gold at the end of the rainbow.
One calm "Petersbergian" morning Lucky's riding to school and calling on all her guardian angels to grant her a miracle - a teeny weeny, it's bitsy one - "please God I wish from the bottom of my heart that school is shut today".
But sometimes your deepest wish can turn into your worst, nightmare. Her journey to school becomes her most desperate journey of survival. Caught unawares by an unexpected wave of insurgency in St. Petrsberg, Lucky tries to feel to safety. But there is no safety. As dread and fear overtake, she meets a stranger, a fellow countryman Aditya Sekhri (Salman Khan) who's smart, wicked, charming and a true blue sophisticate.
They have nothing in common... She's excessively nave and he's to blas. They are bound together by just one common goal… to reach home safely.
And now begins an unforgettable journey from - burning highways and moldy cemeteries to abandoned theaters and icy snowdrift. A journey where violence and tragedy stalk them constantly… where there is little time for talk and survival comes only from being constantly on guard.
As they march through savage ambushes and the icy wilderness of a foreign land, they discover the limit of their endurance. They also discover that love can creep in on you… though there's no time for it.
Amidst all commotion an Intelligence guy, Colonel Pindidas Kapoor (Mithun Chakraborthy) helps them escape from the Civil War.
This Sohail Khan production in association with Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar is directed by debutante director duo Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru. The film has been beautifully shot in Russia. Adnan Sami is the music director.
The film may release by the summer of 2005.

Words you never say
Dreams that whither away
Some lost, some found the way
When their story began just like another day…
Who could have imagined that a forlorn, smalltime airport could change the lives of so many people! But it did, for the lucky few aboard flight TW 135. Stuck at the airport with their flight being delayed, their lives come to a screeching halt, giving them time to examine and introspect relationships.
Starry-eyed teenage lovers, the bachelor caught between a couple of bachelorettes, the newly weds who are already fighting their way to honeymoon, the married, the divorced who don't know why they are fighting anymore, were some who encompassed the varied chosen few. Adding confusion to this mayhem is the asst. airport manager with a wacky sense of humor and the colorful nitwit with a signal problem!
They portray a frame of time that each one of us has or will go through. Each of them tell a story that signifies that the idea of romance goes beyond the boundaries of age - that love can be found at 16 or 60 and anywhere in between. They mirror the crazy characters we meet who make our journey more enjoyable. The characters throw light on the funny side of the seemingly unfortunate situation, also highlighting the emotional undercurrents.
Sprinkled with light-hearted humor and warm abandon, the film explores the loves and lives of these travelers during a small delay that becomes an uncertain wait.
Thrown together by a trick of fate, Kuchh Meetha Ho Jaye is their story… about love, about emotions, about that one chance that they are bestowed within a fleeting moment in time when their journey became their destination.
Shemaroo, the market leader in the Indian Home Video Entertainment since almost 25 years has stepped into the world of film production with "Kuchh Meetha Ho Jaye". Also with this film, prominent film journalist Samar Khan turns a movie director. With Arshad Warsi and Mahima Chaudhary in lead roles, the film introduces the new lead pair of Shravan and Mahima Mehta and also has Shahrukh Khan in a special appearance.
The film is slated for an April 2005 release.

Waqt - A Race Against Time
By IndiaFM News Bureau, February 08th, 2005 - 0930 hrs IST
After dealing with a rather unusual theme in his directorial debut Aankhen (bank robbery by blind men) director Vipul A Shah strikes back with a family drama this time in the form of Waqt - A Race Against Time. For this movie he reunites the lead players of his first film Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar along with Akshay's best screen partner in recent times - Priyanka Chopra and his own wife Shefali Shah.
Waqt is the story of a father and a son between whom there is a special bond. Unlike many other father son relationships, these two are more like friends; the father being Ishwar Sharawat (Amitabh Bachchan) and his son Aditya (Akshay Kumar). Ishwar is the owner of a toy manufacturing company and is extremely generous and big hearted making sure to spread as much as joy to kids as he can, and that is why he makes sure that during the festive season of Diwali he distributes toys to the orphans. On the surface Ishwar's life seems like something every man would crave for; a great and profitable business, a loving son and a caring and dutiful wife Sumitra (Shefali Shah) or so it seems.
Aditya is in love with Mitali (Priyanka Chopra) and vice-versa who is the daughter of Nathu (Boman Irani). However after the initial problems that occur, the two of them finally end up getting married. Ishwar hopes that marriage will make Aditya a more responsible man but he is disappointed. His efforts to turn Aditya into a more responsible individual turn futile.
One thing leads to another and Ishwar doesn't have an option but to throw Aditya out of the house. Aditya is shocked that the same doting father is now behaving in this fashion towards him and his now pregnant wife. After the initial problems, Aditya takes it upon himself to take care of his wife and his unborn kid. Aditya starts working as freelance stuntman and at the same time prepares for a star search contest. Aditya starts turning into an independent man but the rift in the relationship between him and his father grows.
In the climax of the film Aditya has been chosen to participate in the finals of the star search contest and this is where all the reasons of the father's cruel behavior are exposed and this forms the end of the story when the father and son get back together.
Waqt is produced under the banner of Blockbuster Movie Entertainers [India] by Manmohan Shetty. The film is written by Aatish Kapadia and has music by Anu Malik, cinematography by Santosh Thundriayil, editing by Shirish Kunder and action by Abbas Ali Moghul.
Waqt is slated for April 2005 release
