 Ya bingo priya,I pretty confused what type of people they are expecting to watch. Saach ka samna is a seasonal show when rajeev goes off again it will come to a worst place than SO. in my professional language If I say If U have taken a sick unit U should do good Hw to include all the previous  records,company's profit and where it is going wrong. but not to abolish the whole machinary and the running unit altogether. As sam told it too early but seem to be going in the way of 9X & sahara one channels which don't even have subsciptions in many places. Now I saw in last channels LIFE OK . He is giving. MY mom is a big showee even she didn't like it.

You are right richa now I am scared as to what will they do to geet season 2 if it comes in LOK now I want it in SP
it looks like they are trying to follow the footsteps of colours which started with social messages & negativity but today the fact is that even colours is going downhill
they lied to us that it is to target youth ?

you know last Sunday I was having a  almost similar discussion about Indian soaps ... where does it fails... the main problem according to me  and my friend is the dragging / twist and turns after the ending off the main story... writers are not able to provide with decent scope and ad the saas, bahu flavours too it...or go away form the main concept... thinking that is what will work...while in that process the characters get butchered...look how it effected Geet...

second: how is the market in India...cause gul khan said the Indian market isn't interested in season 2... why would she say that...their must be a reason...what does the viewer wants and how can a channel provide it...

my best friend who is marketing specialist say: Sony is one off the better channels...they play the marketing game very well...and asoon they notice an concept doesn't work anymore...it's given a opportunity to come with a better strategy...but even if that doesn't work...the show is pulled off...

third: how  does it fits in the Indian tradition and how progress is the viewer... cause although we are getting to see strong female...it this appealing for the average traditional viewer... will the concept work then...are they willing to accept a woman working out side, yes today an education is important and most woman are studying but due the get a chance to work...or is it only a showpiece...

ok, I hope I made any sense...cause to translate an discussion form dutch to english is hard... and marketing isn't my thing...

Well the problem with a second season is that people overdo it I mean when they do a first season they have no idea as to whether it will work or not its a mystry to them but in second season they already know what works & they oerdo it like in case of KMH 2 not much attention was given to the story & mainleads were promoted blindly & it failed but in case of CB 2 a lot of attention was given to the story hence its working so the point is viewers are not fools we do want maneet onscreen but with a story

 Thats where I dont get d whole logic?????

Why was there a need to scrap out d whole channel... they cud hav easliy started.. a new set of shows.. at diff timings...
In fact.. with SO they at least had some audience already in hand...but with d launch of new channel.. they  r losing or lost that viewership too.. n hav to start with nothing...
Now.. I dont know the market stuff... but I mean isn't it double d effort???

In fact.. now that every other channel r starting with youth-oreinted serials... SO cud hav been a pioneer in that field... only thing was needed was more publicising their channel...๐Ÿ˜•

@priya...
the second season should have a good concept like the first... the actors and chemistry will work...as long the storyline is good...

where did Geet failed...cause writers killed the main concept...the story off an indepened pregnant girl struggling to survive...after that even the chemistry off the actors started to work off...an serial which started off as with a social MSG...turned in a comedy...nobody enjoyed...yes during the main storyline their was comedy too...but it balanced the story...but the circus comedy took over the leads...and there it failed...

@Sia...
it depends on what kind off strategy the channel has...Q should also be is lifeok still owned by SP...and what viewers are the target...
