if he stays that way for real then i don't see why not...as just because they win this thing they are not going to get flooded with playback singing offers they still have to prove to outside world what they are made up of.
But as an artist he needs to set an example of how an artist has to be with some standards and if possible we should raise the bar of those standards rather than bringing it down.
