Vedika and Suraj both are in temple but they missed each other.Kavita is doing preparations for gahthbandhan puja. NihariKa is restless, as everybody is asking about Vedika. At last Vedika reaches on time. Dhruv is very happy as according to him everything is fine Kavita is very happy and is explaining the meaning of the rituals. change in Niharika and Vedika is being observed, as they both are thinking of Rahul and Suraj respectively. Dhruv on his bed, sees that Vedika is not there. She is sitting alone, near puja vedi. Dhruv looks for her. He asks the reason - Vedika replies that Suraj is alive. Dhruv is shattered. Its raining outside, Dhruv is getting wet, tears r rolling from his eyes. Kavita comes near her, Dhruv hides his emotions, Vedika is firm that she has to look for Suraj, realizing the fact that it has hurt Dhruv a lot, but she is not ready to change her mind. Dhruv is very upset, but he makes up his mind to find Suraj in all possible ways, he wants to see Vedica happy. He shares it with Vedika that he will help her. Vedica is amazed to hear this. While they are conversing somebody is listening to them.

Vedika tells Dhruv how she knows that Suraj is alive and she wants to go back to him. Dhruv feels shattered to learn all this and walks out. He is so shaken that he breaks down irrespective of the pouring rain on him. Kavita shelters him under an umbrella and takes him inside. Vedika fights with herself and decides that she has to go back to Suraj no matter what Dhruv thinks. Dhruv feels that how a person who is loved so much becomes a stranger in a moment. Kavita praises Vedika to her friend Nirja that she is a very loving bahu. Niharika meets Rahul in a restaurant where he asks her for more money. Niharika explains her incapability to arrange money and says that she wont be able to arrange it at all. Suraj and Arti meet up in a cafeteria. Kavita reaches there and is happy to find that they both know each other. A man calls up Niharika and tells her that some people have come and have beaten up Rahul. Niharika reaches Rahuls house and finds him packing his bags. Rahul says that he will have to leave the place, as those guys will kill him next time if he fails to pay and since he cant pay he is leaving. Niharika begs him to stay back and promises that she will arrange money anyhow. Dhruv reaches home and finds Vedika sitting in the darkness. He tells her that he did not want to hurt her and he understands that her love is Suraj. He promises her that he will find out about Suraj and very soon they will be together. We reveal that somebody has listened to the conversation.

Dhruv and Vedika after failing to get any information about Suraj leave for Pune where from an Old lady; they get to know that Suraj lives in Hotel Empire in Mumbai. They come to Hotel Empire to enquire but again fail to get any kind of information. Suraj bumps into Dhruv there and asks him to show him his wife. Dhruv points towards Vedika but Suraj doesn't see her. Kavita suggests to Dhruv that Arti andSuraj make a good pair and should get married. Niharika notices a lot of money kept in Vedika's cupboard while giving medicine to her. Vedika questions Niharika that why she has never stopped her from breaking a husband- wife relationship and searching for her lost love. Niharika has no answers but says that had she been at her place and she at hers, would have done the same thing. Dhruv is surprised when Tara tells him that she knows that Dhruv is helping Vedika in her search for Suraj. Niharika keeps thinking about the ways to arrange money for Rahul. She calls up Rahul who asks her to arrange money anyhow as saving his life is the most important thing. When she hangs up, she finds Antariksh standing there.
