How do you survive a lightning strike?
Run
Stand still
Scream
don't get struck in the first place

You still have that qs? Isnt it over 24 hours.
I think it is stand still - better yet you should crouch close to the ground. It mostly hits the tallest thing in the area.

I guess screaming would be a natural reaction.

Don't get struck in the first place sounds good but not always possible.

Run - I don't know about that unless you are running to a safer place.

A really weird question. Could be anything but I would guess 'stand still' or go 'eenie meenie mani mo' then click and then close your eyes and pray.

Hi jaysp this question has been pending 50 hours and it still hasn't splated on me. I thought after 24 hours it is supposed to return to sender. I have gained 2 ballons randomly where I havn't even answered wrong answers there is something strange going on.

What is the speed at which the sun travels around the galactic centre?

350 kms per sec
300 kms per sec
250 kms per sec
350 kms per min

*********************

maddy read this
Norton, Arthur P. Norton's Star Atlas.New York: Longman Scientific & Technical, 1978: 92. "...the sun's neighborhood, including the Sun itself, are moving around the centre of our Galaxy in approximately circular orbits with velocities of the order of 250 km/s." 250 km/

http://hypertextbook.com/facts/2001/AngelaChan.shtml

check this site maddy it says 250km

The Sun orbits the center of the Milky Way galaxy at a distance of about 25,000 to 28,000 light-years from the galactic center, completing one revolution in about 225–250 million years..The orbital speed is 220 km/sec, equivalent to one light-year every 1,400 years, and one AU every 8 days.
This is what wikipedia says : so it probably is 250 km/sec.

I think *Anjali* is from USA or thats what her profile says. I didn't check others.
Just put a search for their name in 'all forums' and it will bring up all the posts they have made and just look in their profile.
