Yes, those pictures are from Challenge 2005. They came in the episode where they telecast "nihira's journey". I liked both the pictures because they were so natural. You get to see the "real" person, not the one with makeup and fancy wardrobe, etc.

Govindji, Nihira looks very peaceful while doing riaz. She is a devoted musician. I wonder if she plays the sitar? Is learning Vina considered more essential ?

It is Tambura (ViNaa) in Nihira's hand.  It gives you beats. If I am correct there are 4 or 5 strings on the instrument and are tuned to Sa, Pa, Sa, Sa.  I am not leraned on this subject but I think that what it is.  Every classical singer plays Tambora to help them give a tonal help and rhythm.  Some great singers have their assistant play tambora  to give freedom to the artist to make hand motions during singing. You repeat those 5 strings at a regular frequency.  Every persons Sa could vary.  Once you start a song with a particular Sa then you have to stay on that Sa and the other related 11 notes and subnotes.  It just helps you to stay on track.  Again I am telling you this not as a expert but as an observer.

namaskar Govindrao. Tya Vinit chi tar paavli satakli aahe, itka garva bara nahin. Mi tar tyaache threads baghat suddha nahin.

Andheri does have a seafront at Juhu, but the pics are not taken by Vinit, they are from SRGMP cameo.

Helo Saniya, so dear of u to get ur phone bill 😆😆

I suggest u dont go for broadband as again it is billing scheme and has download limit. Instead i suggest u take Local Cablenet which has lesser speed but has unlimited Downloads. I use that and therefore i am able to download and surf as much as i want.
