Well its vice-versa..

Spelling does matter if its for school, an occupation, career, essays, etc. If you want to get a job and your writing your resume..then yea..you probably would need to know your spellingWink..same with essays..you need to get a good mark dont you?

But then again who cares about spelling when your on msnWink

But overall..I think spelling does matter.

(Btw..that paragraph was cool to readLOL)

Spelling definitely matters at school or anything to do with academics. Many word like "weather" and "whether" are said the same way but mean completely different things and when used in sentences can confuse the reader. On msn and forums it doesn't matter since its nothing serious and usually ur audience knows what ur talking about.

I think spelling matters whatever u do. U need to be undersood and to get your point across accurately, one needs to adhere to correct spelling. In school and uni here, you get marked downif spellings are incorrect - that alone taught me how important spelling is. Academically and in the working world, spelling is the first impression anyone gets of you. And if that is a bad first impression ... its all downhill from there!!!
