Shubha Mudgal ji has sung in Raincoat.

Shobha Joshi ji has sung in a bunch of movies incl. Sardari Begum and Sooraj ka saantva ghoda.

Bawra.

Pt. Bhimsen Joshi sang a bhajan in Braja Bhasa in the film Ankahi
(Thumaka Thumaka Paga)

Ud. Sultan Khan got fame through ID in the song "Albela Sajan Ayo Ri."
Besides singing, he is a great sarangi artist and I enjoy listening to him,
esp. his "Sultan Bhai" composition of 1976.

Amir Khan in Jhanak Jhanak Payal Baje, the tan in Madhuban Me Radhika
Naache Re.

I love Ust. Sultan Khan's sarangi and voice. He's sung in the 'Piya Basanti' album composed by Sandesh Shandilya.

Actually, the two taans in Madhuban Mein Radhika Nache Re was done by Nirmala Devi, Govinda's mother, I believe.

Dont think its true. From what I had heard the taans are by Ust. Amir Khan...

He also sang in Shabab (daya kar he girdhar gopal)...

Pt. Bhimsen Joshi had a song "ram prabhu aadhaar jagat ke" in a movie (dont remember the name though)...

Pannalal Ghosh gave music for some movies and he has played flute in quite a few movies...

Gopi Kishen was the lead in Jhanak Jhanak Payal Baje...

Saraswati Rane has sung in Ram Rajya (beena madhur madhur kachu bol) and at least one other song that I dont remember...

Ust. Allah Rakha has played tabla in movies. I'm pretty much sure that he was on the tabla for "naache mann mora magan tikta dhigi dhigi" from Meri Surat Teri Aankhen...

In fact, Ust. Ghulam Mustafa Khan sang for Umrao Jaam - Pratham dhar dhyaan...
