DK walked down the corridor surrounded by assistants and managers…he was just discussing a new project when his secretary came to him…
Sec: sir…there's a lady here to meet you…
DK: Does she have an appointment?
Sec: No sir…but she was saying that…uh…
DK: She was saying…?!!
Sec: she brought food for you sir!!
DK looked surprised…who had brought food for him?!……Maybe Suhasni Aunty had sent it……after all, she had scolded him just yesterday for not eating on time…..
DK: Where is she?!
Sec: in your cabin sir!!
DK finished the work he was doing and made his way to his cabin…….as he entered he was even more surprised to see a bored looking Disha flicking through a file which contained pictures of models……she looked up as he came in and carelessly gestured towards a large tiffin resting on the other side of his desk…
D: Mamma sent food……
DK was a little taken aback with her vague, if not slightly polite attitude…….he sat down and opened the tiffin…the aroma made him smile…it was good to have someone care for you…..and if she was such a great cook…….that was even better!!…….as he separated the food, he looked up at Disha and saw that she was still flicking through the photos…DK cleared his throat and tried to get her attention…
DK: So…
D: who's this…
Cutting him off she pointed towards a picture of a model in a cream sari…DK got up and went round to other side…
DK: I think that's Neha Mistry…
As he bent down to get a better look, Disha flicked her hair and DK smiled as it tickled his face while the sweet smell of jasmine filled his senses…he looked at Disha who was talking animatedly, something about a friend who looked like Neha…but DK understood none of it as he inched closer to her…taking in every single feature of her beauty…Just then Disha turned round and as she looked into DK's eyes she froze…
Slowly he came closer until their faces were barely inches away and DK lifted his hand to caress her cheek…suddenly Disha realised how close they were and tried to pull away…
D: Ow!!
She looked back at him and realized that her hair had got stuck in his chain…DK and Disha both reached for his chain and as their fingers brushed together…they both looked up…Disha turned away feeling shy while DK untangled her hair…as it came loose he came closer to Disha and whispered in her ear…
DK: Disha…
Disha closed her eyes as she felt his warm breath on her neck…DK came closer and just when he was about to kiss her on the neck, someone knocked on the door…Disha stood up embarrassed while DK straightened himself…irritated at being disturbed he looked towards the door…
DK: Come in!!
The door opened and his secretary stepped in…
DK: What?!!
Noting his mood she immediately became nervous…
Sec: Umm…sir…there's some files for you to sign and…
DK: Can't you see I'm busy?!!
D: No DK…it's ok…I was just about to leave…
Disha quickly walked out the office while DK watched with a small smile on his face…
