Popular Duets

Now that SRGMP Ek Main Aur Ek Tu is starting this week, we will get to hear lots of duets, something that was very much missed in SRGMP Challenge 2005. 😊

So, let us try to compile our favourite duets, we can hope to hear them sung in the next few weeks.

Also list the jodi or singer in whose voice you would love to hear that duet sung!

There r so so many of them....but since they might choose contemporary songs(going by their looks on holi special)

I'd like to listen Sharib and Vinita/Ujjaini sing
Pyaar ye jaane kaisa hai(from Rangeela)

Sharib-Twinkle :Sona kitna sona hai(hero no 1)

Ek mein aur ek tu hai-By Hemu-Himani again 😭

Am listing a few of my favourites, first the old ones I'm aware that they might not be sung at all since they are not one you can dance to

1. Jab deep jale aana would love Sharib or Vishwas singing this.
2. Aj hun aaye baalma saawan beeta jaaye- Sharib again with Twinkle, maybe
3. Teri Bindiya Re - Vishwas Ujjaini
4. Paanch Ruppaiya Baara Aana - can't think of anyone specific 😕 but if carried off well, it could be a great performance

Good choice! I'm still trying to list the newer ones that I like...

I too feel they will select more of dance numbers, although I hope they have a at least one round themed for semi-classical ones. I love hearing them (old SaReGaMa always had this)

Def. RDB by Rajiv....that was one great performance that he and Swananda gave in the finals!!

i would love to see Hemu sing the song "Ainah mujse meri paheli surat maanga" it is a Ghazal from Talat Aziz from the movie "Daddy" course he is not in this contest.

would love to see Rajeev sing "Hajji Ali" and as for duets Sharib with Raktima singing "Ek pyaar kah nagma hai" an old song starring Nanda / Manoj Kumar.
