NO chqppals...at all!!   You made absolute sense.  Where was the concern for what kind of a family KHUSHI is marrying into?   Who will be her mother-in-law, and what is she like?  Will she be treated well by them?   So granted they think that Shayam is a great guy...but so is Aakash...so why worry about Aakash's mom and family but not worry about Shayam's mom and family???

In that episode buaji will slightly ask him about his family so that she can think abt shyam-khushi relationship.

No as far as I could recollect he said he has no parents.  In fact she said that he has no one to Garima.

No actually in one of the episodes buaji asked the creep "Ghar mein khon khon rehtha hai babua" and he was like "amma hai bauji hai. kyun buaji?" and buaji was like "kuch nahi babua" Dead
Im sure i saw such scene initially. Guys am i right? There was a scene like this na. As far as i could recollect these were the dialogues spoken.

someone sent me this quote which i think fits Khushi: "The person who tries to keep everyone happy is always the most lonely person, so never leave them alone because they will never say that they need you"... so i hope Arnav never leaves her alone.. he may pretend to hate her but we know he will always be there for her and he will be her only true family.. she may seem happy outside but she really needs someone who she can share her pain with..

Wonderful! loved it!

Arnav is the best person to understand her...both are orphan n equally alone n share a lot in common!

i l be the happiest person, when Arna shhows his love for her,,, any day any time

Garima is Khushi's aunt and is thus related to her by blood. She is Payal's step mother. So don't you think she would be more partial to her own flesh and blood than her husband's daughter? Personally I dont think she is partial to either of them.  Buaji told her that Shyam is an orphan.  In fact Buaji herself thinks that he is because of what he said.  So I dont think it is fair to judge them when even the Raizadas have still not caught on to Shyam's double game though he is missing on so many important occasions.

Still some relative or some one , who is this duniya is all lawaris! Koi to hona chahiye!

I remebr vaguely that  bua ji saying his family lives in Lucknow or something!

watever!

Payal is soo happy!

gud for her!

they know one thing na, k Khuhsi was not happy with the negagement, Bua ji herself said that when she lost the ring, that u did it under my pressure, i know u r not happy  etc etc! u did it for ur babuji!

so she is at fault!

I agree with you here. Even I remember buaji saying that Shyam's family living somewhere. But also in recent episodes when lost her ring Shyam calls Khushi and tells that it belongs to his mother and how can she lose itAngry
But for whatever reasons, you cant force your decisions on to anyone and here its a very big decision which cant be changed that easily. Since they have adopted Khushi and given her a family it doesnt mean that they can do or they may force her to do what doesnt like.Angry

Hello community,

Actually if you notice, even Guptas did not ask how Payal felt about the alliance. Nani clearly told them that Akash likes her. They did not care to ask if Payal was ok, not atleast once even though she smiled.

Her mom could have asked her if she will be able to spend her life with Akash, cope up with mami, ect etc ? But No.

Guptas are like that to both daughters which was clearly etched in today's episode.

But Payal was all shy smiling so they might have understood that she likes him.
Point to be noted here neither Payal said yes nor no
But Khushi clearly said no but still they forced her to get engaged

You are right. My thoughts too were along the same line. The little bit of diligence that was shown by Garima were missing at the time of Khushi's engagement. It was as if they were happy to get rid of her. The fact that they have not made any inquiries about Syam's background is disconcerting..

Khushi's is truly an unbelievable character... she was all smiles and glowing with happiness ... what a selfless person... Too good to be true Big smile

I remember even the scene. Buaji asks Shyam about his family as she has a marriage proposal for him and also he teases her saying you too big for me.
But later when Khushi lost her engagement ring he says that its mother's ring and how can she be careless or something like that.
We never know in Indian serials script changes over nightLOL
