In the scene they have shown Priya folding the same blue sari so the scene is from same evening - they have shown Ram saying - Assume karo agar main kahoo ki ek ladki - so perhaps Priya has given a comforting response to him so this guy makes move but I really doubt he will hold her ...
Another option is that Priya just turn around at that moment and asks aap kya ar rahe hai and he says - won kuchh tha tumhare shoulder per ..
my option is somewhere between 2 and 3 - I chose 2
