Chapter 17:
sudha di's n yash engagement date has fixed n all r very happy. All the children r teasing di. Suddenly they heard a voice from entrance all the elders r very happy seeing him after a long time but maan, geet, karthik, sudha r hell angry on him. When that guy wished them they just glared at him. He knows that he is in danger.
Guys I am extremely sorry he held his ears.
They all r melting seeing him but maintained straight face n hiding their laugh.
Now plz stop ur drama n talk with me.
All glared at him n shouted KRISHNA...
he is best friend of these 4. when handa's n khurana's r in banglore he is neighbour. But they all r very close. When they all shifted to delhi they promised that all will meet every year. As all got busy in their studies they didnt meet for 2 years. N krishna didnt call them from past 6 months n they all r hell angry on him.
They all started chasing him. Seeing them in full mood he starting running.
Yaar plzz I am soo sorry. Plz ab chodo muje.
Finally all r very tired n panting heavily. All of them saw each others face n started laughing.
Yaar krishna missed u soo much said maan.
They both hugged each other.
Then krishna n karthik hugged each other. He came near sudha n hugged her.
Hey congrats. Engagement kab hain yaar.
Di blushed n told this friday.
Wow.. great we all will have fun.

Finally he went near geet n hugged her.
Geet I missed u soo much yaar n kissed her forehead.
Geet too hugged him tight n told me too missed u krishna bhai.
Maan n krishna r classmates in banglore n geet treats him as brother. He too treats geet as his own sister.
Geet had tears in her eyes seeing him after long time. They broke the hug n wiped her tears n nodded in a no. she smiled at him.

here shanti is very silent not understandng anything. She is seeing this guy for the first time.
Geet saw her n slapped her head.
Uff.. I am sorry shanti. He is our best friend krishna. N bhai she is my best friend shanti.
Shanti smiled at him n said hi krishna.

They all chatted for some time n had dinner. N shanti took the leave. As usual karthik went to drop her. They both r very excited as they r going alone. But they didnt talk to each other it was a silent drive. (ufff.. I just want to slap them.. itna acha mauka tha.. they both r impossible... )
the next 2 days r very busy. As there is only 2 days left for engagement. All the ladies went for shopping n boys went to takecare of other things like decorations, catering, making lists of all the guests n all. All the girls r very busy in selecting dresses. Just then geet got a msg a smile formed by seeing the sender name. Yes its none other than maan. Geet opened the msg n surprised by reading that.
Geet your dress is there in your cupboard. She smiled widely but didnt reply anything.
She is soo happy that she is going to wear the dress selected by her maan. Eventhough he selected her dress several times but now there is a different feeling.
Finally the engagement day has come. All the ladies in the house r arranging everything. Geet, swetha n shanti r in di;s room doing her makeup. Finally di got ready n she is looking gorgeous in red saree, matching jewellery, bangles, maang tika n payal. Geet n shanti hugged her n they went to get ready.
Maan, karthik n krishna too got ready looking dashing n handsome in black sherwani n first 3 buttons r opened exposing his well toned chest. His hair is gelled n shining. He is looking extremely hot. All the girls r drolling over him but his eyes r searching only for his mishty. At the same time swetha came there she wore blue colour saree which is so revealing. She saw maan n tried to talk with him.
Hi maan.
Hi swetha.
Maan how I am looking?? asked swetha in a husky voice.
Maan didnt like that but cant be rude so told
yeah u r looking good.
Swetha is disappointed with his reply. She took extra care with all the make up to impress maan. But here he is not at all looking at her. So she left from there.
Just then Yash n his family arrived to HM. Maan eyes were searching for his doll even as he welcomed Yash and his family inside HM where the engagement was planned. Maan n geet invited their friends too pari,sam,rohan,rahul,adi,pinky,deepti. All the guests started coming to the engagement party.
His jaw almost opened as he saw Geet walking down the stairs with Sudha di. She looked angelic in her pink and orange lehnga. Jasmine flowers kissed her cheeks from the gajra in her hair. He so wanted to be those flowers touching her silky skin. His reverie was broken by the giggles of girls following Geet and Di. He turned to make sure there was no one watching and his eyes fell on Karthik who seem to be gazing at Shanti. Maan smirked at his condition and pushed him slightly.
Karthik just looked down.
Suddenly Pooja and vijaya started the dholak as all the girls started dancing.
Geet and Shanti stood in the middle and with other friends including Shweta n their friends in a circle.
Maan's heartbeats stopped as she turned her waist to the music. Then she shook her glass bangles and started singing -

Sudha Di was made to sit on a sofa and all the girls circled her. Geet started teasing her -

Maan took Geet's hand asking her to dance with him. But Geet was in no mood to agree so soon. She kept hands on her waist and jerked herself, showing her back to him. But Maan was in no mood to relent either. He took the dupatta which was in Shweta's hands and teasingly danced towards Sudha di making Geet follow him
Geet was very mad and Shweta's smiling face just added oil to fire. She stomped her foot and remarked "Koi baat nahi'tum nahin toh bahut ladke hain yahan pe jo mere liye haste haste nakhre uthane ke liye tayiaar ho jayenge"
Maan was now restless. Everyone laughed as he went after her "Aye Mirchi"
Geet ' "Mirch nahi Karela'baith ke chaban samjhe"
Saying this she again joined the Sudha Di. Pooja signaled so Geet and Shanti escorted Sudha to main hall to make her sit next to Yash. They both looked at each other. Yash smiled at her n di just blushed.

engagement ceremony is completed n yash n his parents took leave. The marriage date fixed exactly after one month. The whole HM is full of laughter with people around. Slowly all the guests left fron there. Now only handas n khurana's r there in HM.
The whole maan n geet part was observed by 2 people swetha n krishna. Swetha didnt like their closeness n krishna is very happy for his friend n sister. All the friends r happy seeing maan n geet.
After dinner swetha left from there n went to her hostel. She entered her room. The room is dark n she switched on the lights n her face is burning with anger.
Swetha: why this is happening to me why?? maine maan ko impress karne ke liye sab kuch kiya par usne meri taraf dekha bhi nahi. Aur wo geet sab log usi ki tareef karte hain. Main kya galti ki? Nahi geet maan sirf mera hain sirf maan. He will be mine soon. This time I wont spare u geet. Agar tumne maan ki ghareeb aane ki koshish bhi ki tho main tumko chodoongi nahi. Ha geet main tumko chodoongi nahi. I will go to any extent to make him mine. She had a evil smirk n changed her dress n dossed off.
In the HM all the elders went to their respective rooms. It was very tiring day for all of them. All the children r talking to each other. They r in no mood to go to bed.
