You guys must have listned to Meenal's song but may not have understand it as the song was in Punjabi/Urdu. Well the song is very beautiful orignally sung by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and written by Bulley Shah though some people say that it is based on  Amir Khusrau (well known poet of 12th and 13th century) poetry who is the father of Indian Classical Music and modern hindi/Urdu poetry.

Meenal redition of the song was very beautiful although she didn't pronounce  the very first line well.

This is one of my favorite songs. My father is a huge Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan too. Meenal deserves an applause for selecting this song as Khan has a very husky and low-pitched voice, very distinctive too but its commendable that she selected this song and sang it well. Thanks for the info! I think some of the lyrics are in Persian as well, not sure though.

There might be some persian words as both Amir Khusrau and Bulley Shah wrote in persian too.
