I think rishi is her brother's friend

Yup even I think so... Bcoz he is definitely not her brother. In yesterdays scene when Indira tells him not to talk to her father inder, that time he is surprised & says "Toh yeh Indira ke pitaah hai" something. If he was her brother how wouldnt he not be knowing about who is his father?
