As their first south Indian film 'Muran' has emerged as a success story, the famous Bollywood production group UTV is planning to concentrate more on the South. They will be soon producing the new film by Vikram, Myskkin's 'Mugamoodi' and Sundar C's 'Masala Cafe' in Tamil.
UTV will debut as producers in Mollywood with the Mohanlal movie 'Grandamaster' directed by B Unnikrishnan. The shoot for the movie will start this December and will be a midsummer release. After completing 'Grandmaster' U T V will start the production of Saji Surendran's comedy film 'Happy Husbands in Goa'. UTV also have plans to produce new Malayalam films with Mammootty, Dileep and Prithviraj. According to its South Indian business chief, G Dhananjayan, U T V will produce at least 3-4 films every year in Malayalam. The corporate will invest 25 crores very year for various Mollywood productions.
