You're welcome. Big smile

Oh ermm, which version are you using? I used CS6, so I had that option.

Look in the bottom of your animation frame and see if you have an option of the 3 frames and a star or something. Something that looks like this in the picture below (circled):

Are you sure? 'Cause this picture that I posted above is using CS5. And the one I posted in my tutorial is CS6.

Look again and see if you see this somewhere on the animation frame. Or take a screenshot of your screen and I'll try and figure it out.

i have the most basic thing PS has ever invented so i think this will be easier for u if u dont have timeline animation.
I use IR so i think all PS versions have things more than it has.
(screenshots will be from Google as me uses a diff OS version.)

STEP1: make your avis ,  nice will be if they both have same number of frames coz PS has no culling option.

But if u need to cull in PS then which ever avi u think will have more frames coz the scene is lengthy(if u urself are making it) then increase the "frame limit" than the other avi while making it.

STEP2: make a new document , a lil smaller in size than ur avi's , so that wen u paste them on it they both overlap.(this u may not do if u can shift about that avi which is going to be below.)

STEP3: u made 2 avi's or u have 2 avi's , they'll be in the layer panel as single entities right?http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_l763b9bqeJ1qaow72.png
Group them.select all layers n go to Layers<Group Layers.
meaning group avi 1 in its place n avi 2 where it is ,so that u have 2 groups of avis. This is wat u  will paste in the new document.http://pe-images.s3.amazonaws.com/photo-effects/punch-through/photoshop-layer-group.gif
(If u're not making a new document then first group the avi's then paste one over the other.)

First paste the one which will be below and then paste the 2nd one over it.
While pasting remember for both avis u're doing are  "paste over selection."
(For pasting select all ur frames -theres a tiny triangle upper right side , click a drop down menu comes choose "select all frames"-again click the triangle-"copy frames"
Go to where u're pasting-click that triangle-drop down menu-paste frames- a pop up comes-select "paste over selection")
http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/video-animation-overview/_jcr_content/main-pars/image_0.img.png/vd_animation_frame.png
the button marked I is that triangle (n that marked H is ur timeline.)

STEP4: set ur avi's as u want n wen happy with their positions , in the layer panel click on that group which is above n which u will be somewat erasing to make them look merged.

Add "layer mask" to it.

Choose the mask,as in wen ur make it selected theres a double line rectangle around it .http://pe-images.s3.amazonaws.com/photo-effects/high-key-glow/photoshop-layer-mask.gif

In the foreground there should be black color  which is an eraser for mask.
Choose a big soft brush (not eraser)n decrease the opacity a lil n start rubbing off  the part u dont want.
keep increasing decreasing the opacity as u feel.

If by mistake u rub off something u didnt wanted choose "white color" in foreground now.
White in mask means reappearing , meaning wat u rubbed off will again be there.
this makes mask a divine intervention.

color them n all u do before u're about to save.

when ur happy with ur work save ur avi.

this is how mine look with masking.
