FATAL ATTRACTION: Shubhaavi K, who plays Meera in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi | There is a new woman in the life of Mihir (Ronit Roy) in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (Star Plus).
The lawyer Meera (Shubhaavi K), who entered the Virani household in November, now finds herself increasingly attracted to Mihir.
For a long time now, Mihir has been a one-woman man, totally devoted to his wife Tulsi (Smriti Iraani).
But with Tulsi languishing in jail for the murder of Ansh (Akashdeep Sehgal), will Mihir fall a prey to Meera's advances?
"Everyone knows that Mihir can't think of any other woman besides Tulsi," says model-turned-actress Shubhaavi who plays Meera in this Balaji daily.
So does she ensnare him in her trap? "That's to be seen," she laughs.
Initially, Meera had taken on the rape case of Nandini (Gauri Pradhan) and is now shown fighting Tulsi's case.
"Meera is a strong woman; a person of values. She knows she is a winner. She was so immersed in her legal battles, that she had no time for anything — least of all love."
Now, in a change of track, it will be shown that Meera does find herself taking time off for a romantic interlude.
"Earlier, she considered that a waste of time. Now, she will love Mihir unconditionally. He will initially not even be aware of it, " informs Shubhaavi.
At present the plot has her cautioning Tulsi's other son Harsh (Mehul) against tying the knot with Mohini (Tassnim Sheikh).
"Meera warns him about the smooth-talking Mohini who is marrying him only for money and the high life." On the other hand, Mohini is also instigating Meera to lose Tulsi's case so that she faces imprisonment, therefore leaving Mihir free for her.
