On its 7th Anniversary, Saas Bahu Aur Saazish has become the longest running number 1 programme in the history of news television.

After making its debut as a 1 hour programme in April 2011, SBS continued its historically high ratings. The biggest innovation narrowing the gulf between news and entertainment has a number of firsts to its credit.

Saas Bahu Aur Saazish on Star News ranks number 1 in the afternoon band for 7 years in a row-a news television first. It was a pioneering show on a news channel that captured all the excitement and news of popular television serials. The show also brought competing general entertainment channels together on one common platform.
