 Shweta Tiwari is a very well known Indian film and television actress, she has gained a lot of popularity by a TV serial Kasauti Zingagi Kay by Balaji Telefilms. Shweta Tiwari was born on 4 October, 1980 in Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh. Most of her television shows aired on STAR Plus.
 She is also the
winner of Bigg Boss Season 4
Shweta Tiwari is geared up to play her second innings in television fiction shows. The actress will be seen in Sony's new fiction show 'Parvarish ? Kuch Khatti Kuch Meethi '. The show, as the name suggests is based on the upbringing of children. The promos are on air and have catchy statements like 'Zarurat aane par ATM bhi bante hai, Bachchon ke liye maa baap kya kya role aada karte hain.'
The show is expected to go on air on November 21, at 9.30 pm (2011)

Career  While playing Bahu V on stage, Shweta got noticed by a well-known director and started her acting career in 1999 with Kaleerein. She shot to fame for her role of Prerna in the television serial Kasautii Zindagii Kay. She has done several advertisements, dance shows, plays and cameos in othertelevision serials. Some of her other popular television serials include Aane Wala Pal, Karam, Kahin Kissi Roz, Kya Hadsa Kya Haqeeqat, Rishtey, Daddy Samjha Karo, Dost, Yatra, Naaginnand Ajeeb. She is also active in Bollywoodand Bhojpuri cinemaand has played supporting roles in Madhoshi (2004), Abrakadabraand Benny And Babloo(2010). She appeared in the Bhojpuri film Hamar Sayian Hindustani along with her ex-husband Raja Chaudhary.On 28 February 2008, her 8 years long running serial Kasauti Zindagi Ki ended. After that she was seen as one of the judges on the Star Plus reality dance show Aajaa Mahi Vay. She also took part in the reality show Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao, where she faced controversy for shower in the jungle. She is also a producer and is producing television serials and films.
 she was seen as a judge in the Bhojpuri reality dance show named Dance Sangram.
she did an item song and a cameo role in the film Bin Bulaye Baraati nd an item song in da movie "Miley na Miley Hum". Her upcoming projects include her new daily serial "Parvarish" (Which is gonna telecast on 21st november), the Indo-Pak movie named Sultanat, Gopal My Bro (in which she is coming with Karanvir Bohra) and Married to America.

When asked about how does she relate to the show as a mother, Shweta says, "I feel, it is a cycle that keeps going. When one thinks of Parvarish, the first thought that comes to our mind is children, their personalities and the way they behave. Parvarish is the basis of a child's behaviour. The show has a different script and they wanted a real life mother to play the role."

Talking about her daughter, Shweta (who has single handedly brought up her daughter) states, "My daughter is a very responsible girl. She makes me very comfortable and doesn't give me a feeling that her father is not around, even if she is missing him."

Shweta further elaborates by saying, "She behaves in a responsible manner and understands that her mother is doing everything for her. I believe that the right kind of upbringing has helped her in being so responsible. I would say that not only my daughter, but any child given the right kind of upbringing can succeed in life."

Shweta Tiwari bags a heart warming role in Sony TV's Parvarish!

As per sources, the stunning actress will be seen playing mother to two teenagers in Parvarish and being a mom herself she feels very close to the character. Talking about the show, she said, "I was bugged as I was only shedding tears on screen and wanted to try something different. I feel the theme of the Sony show is very fresh and has never been tried on Indian television".

This fresh presentation of Sony caters a new idea and talks about the unique concept of parenting. The show is scheduled to go on air on 21 November at 9.30 pm once Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 5 wraps up. The show also stars Vivek Mushran, Rupali Ganguly and Vishal Singh. For the moment, audience can enjoy the lovely promos of the show which are currently on air!

Shweta Tiwari is the daughter of Nirmala and Ashok Tiwari. She was brought up in Mumbai and completed her education from the St. Isabel Girls School in Mumbai. She studied for her bachelor's degree at Burhanis College, Mazgaon, Mumbai. She has a younger brother, Nidhaan.In 1998, at the age of 18, Shweta married actor Raja Chaudhary. The debut film of Shweta Tiwari is 'Madhoshi' which was released in year 2004. Shweta Tiwari has also active role in Bollywood and Bhojpuri Cinema. In her debut file 'Madhoshi' she played a supporting role, along with other films Abra Ka Dabra, Benny and Babloo. Shweta Tiwari also played a role Bhojpuri film 'Hamar Sayian Hindustani'.  Shweta's character of Prerna in the popular show Kasauti Zindagi Kay was a perfect mix of beauty and brains. She became an instant hit and went ont to become one of the most loved bahus on television, thus joining the league of Smriti and Sakshi. Shweta : My mother did! She derived it from a Goddess' name and it was a unique one in the village I was born!
Was there any disappointment in the family, ke ladki ho gayi?

Shweta : Not that I know of! Actually within days of my being born, I was brought to Bombay ( then ). They say the moment I was being carried to home, from the other side brought the Durga Idol and my grandpa gushed - 'Ghar mei devi aa gayi!'

Shweta : Absolutely! But tell you what, when my daughter was born and I took her to my in-laws' town, there was big disappointment there!

Shweta : Oh, my MIL would pine before visitors - 'Arre aapke toh 2 bete hai, but to us was born a girl!'
And how did you react to that?

Shweta : I was livid! And I told them in so many words - 'Look, I'm not going to tolerate this rubbish against my daughter. I will take her away if you behave like this!' This made her silent!
Was it an easy childhood for you?

Shweta : No - difficult! Very difficult! My grandpa suffered big Financial setbacks and we fell on real bad times. Both my parents worked. I, myself, started working since I was in 7th standard.
So that you could be self-sufficient?

Shweta : Yes - I took total care of my own expense. In vacations, I would work in a Travel Agency and earn enough to last me the rest of the year. Children pester their parents to buy this or that, but if I desired a toy or something, I would stand on road to sell my mixer-grinders and then buy that with my own money!
That must have made you an independent person?

Shweta : Oh, fiercely independent! I only did my own wish. I would save, I would cut corners, but I would also squander big money on presents for my friends, buying them dresses. Being a Shweta Gift, it alwats had to be special!
Have you been naive early on?

Shweta : Like how! I studied in Girls' school and college as well and boys would be bugbears for me. I was all the time worried ke Log kya kahenge. That made me totally bottled up and knotted!
And you remained like that till when?

Shweta : Till very, very late! Even on the sets of Kasautii Zindagi Kay, when they cracked non-veg jokes, I would just gape at them, not understanding a thing! And there would be whispers - 'Oh, she pretends to be dumb, though she is not!' But I was! I was a Dhaa ( Desi slang for silly and simpleton )!
