Here we can post everything we know, can find out, or want to share about Barun Sobti...

To start with ...

Barun Sobti (born 21 August 1984) is an Indian television actor and model whose career was launched from the STAR Plus television series Shraddha. Sobti is recognized for playing the lead male character, Shravan Jaiswal, in the Sony TV's serial Baat Hamari Pakki Hai. He is presently playing the role of Arnav Singh Raizada in STAR Plus romantic drama television series Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon.

Barun Sobti was born into a Punjabi family. He has one elder sister.Her name is Richa Arora. He is married to his childhood love on december 2010. His wife works with J P Morgan. His wife's name is Pasmeen Manchanda

In his first role on television he appeared opposite Neha Janpanditas the male lead Swayam Khurana, in the family and faith oriented daily soap Shraddha broadcast on STAR Plus, which was pulled off air abruptly. He was also approached to play the male lead in Balaji Telefilms show Keshav Pandit.

He then essayed the character of Dr Yuvraj Singh (Raj) in popular youth show Dill Mill Gayye, though left as he bagged a lead role in the serial Baat Hamari Pakki Hai.

He has worked in Baat Hamari Pakki Hai till late February which used to air on Sony TV, for which he has gained recognition and popularity. To promote the show, lead pair Barun and Ankita Sharma appeared in Sony TV's dance based reality show Boogie Woogie! on the 29th May 2010,and later the Indian Idol 5 Grand Finale on the 15th August 2010.

After Baat Hamari Pakki hai wrapped up, he is currently seen as the male lead, Arnav Singh Raizada, in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon as an arrogant business tycoon who does not believe in love with co-star Sanaya Irani.
